    I had it done 7 years ago after wearing glasses and contact lenses from age 12............it is the most liberating thing I have ever done! No more steamed up glasses, allergic reactions to glasses touching my skin, broken glasses after crashes off horses, no more eye infections/irritations from wearing contact lenses and panic on losing lenses. Look into it, mine was done with Optical Express......best £1000 I ever spent.

    FATHER XMAS Maybe ? Or more likely an outside aerial, suggesting that you watch tv? Anyways, talking of outside aerials, Now that analogue signal no longer works are outside aerials still necessary to pick up digital signal through freeview boxes?

    Whatever one you get - get it fitted by an expert saddler, who can advise on what would suit the physique of your particular horse and importantly, adjust it as your horse changes condition. Is this for your latest young horse? Bear in mind, if it is only a youngster, that it will change as it matures and builds muscle. As other poster said, you can avoid trouble in the future by spending time and money getting things right now.

    How many dogs do you have? Might it be a case that, in reality, she has bonded with the other dog/dogs rather than with you? And pup feels under pressure? Maybe some one-on-one time with her might help - short sessions of chasing a tennis ball, playing tug, feeding her from your hand etc, having a bit of fun, no pressure might bring her out of her shell? Is it a case that because the old dog was good at her job, you have become comfortable with that and maybe expect too much from the pup?

    Such a tragedy for this family. It only takes a split second for disaster to strike. I believe dogs and kids do not mix until children are old enough to truly understand to treat a dog with respect and always under supervision.

    Good luck with her...............are you sure she is deaf, perhaps the poor thing has just been so abused, malnourished and neglected that she has 'shut down'? Good for you for giving her a chance....keep us updated - it certainly will be a project worth following.

    What breeding is in your pup? Perhaps it is genetically destined to be lightly made up - or perhaps from breeds that naturally take longer to mature into themselves. I wouldn't worry about it as long as the pup is healthy.

    So on the way back, were they both off the slip at the same time? If so, did they both chase at the same time on the same bunny in the beam? Would you be fearful of collisions causing injury or scraps breaking out between the dogs?

    In that case do you not have a problem when checking your dogs in at kennels? Do they not ask to see your up to date vaccination cards?
