    i remember watching the twin towers on sky news as it happened something i will never forget or ever want to see allowed to happen again Aye, indeed. I was watching it on the big news screens at Schipol ready to get onto a flight back to Belfast, feeling very nervous and thinking ' how very unfortunate that that plane has just crashed into that skyscraper'........

    Well if you have a genuine medical issue you are really concerned about, and as you are not a 'regular attender', you probably do, please do not put pride before getting yourself properly checked out.........there is too much to risk. If, however, you have a good old dose of 'man flu' etc.................get yourself down to Boots for a box of Lemsip. Otherwise, get yourself off to see the doctor for proper assessment and quit crying.

    What size do the 1/2 x, 5/8 x and 3/4 x usually turn out? Is there much difference in height/build between dogs and bitches. I would like a collie x grey that is not too heavy (is that a risk with 1/2) and no bigger than about 25-26"?

    If the farmer said no one had permission on his land, might it be worth calling politely in the daytime, maybe with a tin of xmas biscuits etc, to offer your apologies for any upset caused and clear the air?

    It is always interesting to hear people's opinions on this. I had a pup at 6 weeks and 2 from 10 weeks - I can't say I noticed much difference in how they were to train or respond or bond but I probably wouldn't have another one at 6 weeks - i felt it was a bit young.

    I must say, i have never experienced any problems with night vision - just a vast improvement to what it was like wearing glasses or contact lenses. The day the contact lenses, solutions and storage pots left the bathroom window sill for the bin was a great one!

    Exactly why dogs become jackers or yappers then it's the same folk on here asking why their dogs yapping then it gets passed from pillar to post and what could have became a half decent dog if given time gets ruined and becomes useless, only 1 option in my book after that, PTS!! Dog or handler?

    Glad it is working for you.......it's a lot cheaper than refurbishing your house! Mine do spend time in the crates and are very settled - I put blankets over the top and sides to make them more like dens. My dogs get fed in them as well - so the crates are good places to be.     dam and sire 1/8 bull whippet chum. 3 already spoke for gona keep 1 for wee man so only 1 left misses thinks she keepn as house pet but she can go and f*#k lol. Are the dam and sire related at all? 1/8 bull whippets its an unusal breed to get 2 of different lines... Aye.....indeed.

    people have no respect or disciplin (or however you spell it) nowadays how many parents acctually disciplin there children nowadays ... i remember when i was growing up if i went to my ma and said such and such abody shouted at me , she'd hit me a clip and tell me i should of been behaving then ... nowadays if you have a go at a youngster your liable to have all your windows put through and an angry parent looking at smashing your face in , CHID - Just scrolling down there after reading your post about discipline and lack of nowadays, and what caught my eye, but the Norn Iron flag and

    I had mine done age 35. I was short sighted. I was informed before the procedure that I would likely require 'reading glasses' when I became 'middle aged'....., at a recent eye test, I was told that my vision was perfect.....so far,so good.
