    You should only get him a dog that you would be willing to take on yourself......in case you end up with it. If he feels that he must have one ready for action 'right now', it may be yet another passing teenage fancy, to be cast aside when this time next year his mates have moved on motorbikes, nightclubs, women or whatever appeals to them..................then the poor dog may be left in a pen or indeed yet another 'due to change of circumstances, good working home required for 100% worker'

    that statement isnt true... i was told by a good friend who is muslim that the reason they dont like dogs is because dogs are used for protection and as weapons in alot of the muslim states I was told by a naive relative who actualyl lives near there, but originally from Norn Iron, that certain neighbours are afraid to brush their dogs in case the loose hairs offend the muslim neighbours who for religious reasons don't like dogs.......to that I replied 'get away to feck!' and thought of the words: The sea, oh the sea is the gradh geal mo croide Long may it stay between England an

    Well........to keep it real and balanced...................if the teachers object, you could also offer to provide your daughter with pictures of where most folks clean plastic wrapped supermarket chicken etc comes from.................the birdy equivalent of a concentration camp compared to wild birds foraging through the undergrowth and flying free at their leisure...........................that'll give the PC brigade something to think on!

    Some really fantastic specimens on here. What sort of up keep or maintenance is required if you have these? Do they need to be kept behind glass or washed or dusted etc?
