Kennelling together - The day will come!
littlefish replied to Gaz_1989's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Wise decision. Even though your dogs are separated, they will still be able to see each other and interact. My lurcher, in a moment of high excitement, lifted my terrier bitch (her best mate) by the head recently and shook her for a few seconds, causing injury. I was there and able to stop it, otherwise it would have likely been lights out for the terrier. It was a real sickener for me. When dogs are left kenneled together........there is no escape, especially if you are not there 24/7 to step in, and realistically, who is? -

Young teacher, the subject Of schoolgirl fantasy She wants him so badly Knows what she wants to be Inside her there's longing This girl's an open page Book marking - she's so close now This girl is half his age Don't stand, don't stand so Don't stand so close to me Her friends are so jealous You know how bad girls get Sometimes it's not so easy To be the teacher's pet Temptation, frustration So bad it makes him cry Wet bus stop, she's waiting His car is warm and dry Don't stand, don't stand so Don't stand so close to me Loose talk in the classroom To hurt they -

On the contrary, she may have been a bit 'forward'. I'm not condoning pervy, grooming behaviour but some young girls are way too 'forward'. They choose to, or are allowed to, dress provocatively, wear bake fulls of make up, even to school and run about blocked at the weekends, going to nightclubs etc. and taking drugs, yeah teenagers. I remember some of them types from school, not all wee innocents. -
Get your dogs neutered. Problem solved.

Improve the comfort and dryness of your feet by wearing Sealskinz socks - they are three layers thick and WATERPROOF. I just treated my self to a knee length pair for £30 but so worth it.....The comfy old boots can be worn for a while longer now.

For Sale bull x grey x deerhound x grey pups
littlefish replied to cozzyamy88's topic in Working Dogs & Livestock
Have they been wormed etc? There is something 'odd' or dirty looking about the pups.....not really what i would like to be seeing if i went to view a litter. Maybe it is the way they are being held up for the camera.......i'd rather see pictures of wee fat chubby pups mixing together? -
That Carryduff place was crawling when i was in there - was in to check for a mates dog. Now im going back a right few years, but id say it hasnt changed much since then. It was dirty, cramped and smelly. A disgrace imo.But im just going by what i seen back then - it may have changed its ways and sorted the place out now. its closed down now i think lisburn has taken over as the main pound. 90% of dogs that go in come out changed with bad habits I think realistically, MOST of the unfortunate dogs that end up in these places like Council pounds and rescue centres are not REALLY wanted

when you see them eating something.................
littlefish replied to a topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Never heard this one before, whats the science bit Iv'e heard about this one - grapes, raisins and curns. I think my dogs have guts like iron buckets. But one thing I am strict about is I don't let them eat anything they find along the street etc whilst out and about and I don't let them drink out of puddles etc.......you never know what is in it. -
If it is just the nail and not whole toe, the pup will most likely have it nibbled off quickly and will lick it to keep it clean.

That is an interesting photo - the sand patterns are good . Strong looking dog too. -
It will be just a phase she is going through. Keep her on the lead and call her name - when she looks up at you give her a bit of cheese or sausage. Build it it up to practising off the lead - reward her with food when she comes and praise her up with your voice. Keep your cool and don't expect too much for a while - keep it short and fun.
-
Really?.....can you put up some links to that....i'd be interested in reading more....I love cheese.
-
You should try turning your back and walking away.....don't call it or anything......but reward it when it comes to you.

20 years ago it wasnt on tv...............but then 20 years ago we wasnt being bombarded with pc 24 hours a day Ive just tried to watch a bit of wheelchair rugby ............if they enjoy it and it gives them a sense of achivement thats great, but to tell the world its a " sport " that warrants an hour on mainstream tv and news headlines i think backs up my statement that its political correctness gone crazy....even the balls the wrong f****n shape !! Some would say the same about darts....now there's a sport.....

Google the ingredients of Drontal and the ingredients of Cestem.......looks pretty much the same to me.......
