Had a turkey crown from work & its still in the freezer...... I had pork yesterday... it was a spare rib cut ... I thought it would be crap but Jesus it was the tenderest pork & even my blunt knives made short work of it.. never tasted anything like it before.. it was divine

Am having turkey & pork on christmas day this year... also got a gammon joint for later in the week.... its nice this year as I am not on my own so have gone a bit mad buying lots of snap

I am a bit confused..... wasn't he diagnosed with schizophrenia ?.... hence being in Broardmoor a hospital .... so has he been mis diagnosed or something .... I know stuff I have read about him suggested he mimicked his ex wife's behaviour as she was a diagnosed schizophrenic Just slightly off topic but the bloke who played lez battersby in corrie found one of his victims body on an allotment he was working on..

Another film that makes me cry at the end is called '' the family way'' '' All in good time'' was the book ... its got john mills & haley mills in it ... hywull bennet & Murrey head . Its donkeys years old & basically about the newly married couple mills & bennet who struggle to consumate there marriage because they live with his parents John mills & his mrs... its quite a gentle film despite being set in the North Its another one of them that makes you laugh & cry

Kay I can appreciate that people like yourself may come a cropper, an ex, job loss etc but what I found crazy..... When I had the blinds business I would often esp this time of year have a shed load of clients on the council estates. Most had the sky package, X box, huge telly etc and obviously on benefits. They would be paying me with credit cards and I would be driving to the next job wondering why the fec I have to work my ass off and they don't. Doesn't surprise me most end with the bailiffs turning up, people living beyong their means on credit. It used to be shameful to be in deb

Most debt these days is not folk running up huge credit card bills on a lavish lifestyle, its your average family struggling to keep on top of utility bills. I know from experience the only way to dig yourself from debt is to set up payment plans with the people your in debt with , income & expenditure will be taken into account as will '' priority'' debts such as council tax & mortgage Depending on your circs most company's will be glad of a small regular payment from you rather than nothing

I worked full time when I got married in 86 , I had my eldest lad in 87... so after 3 months at home wit him I decided to go back to work but part time. so I did 5pm -10pm.... that worked until my bloke had to do permanent afternoons .... so I had no choice but to finish I probably had 3 yrs at home with the lad & I got the opportunity to work noon - 3pm in a garage , then the company moved to bigger premises which again meant I had to finish that job as I was unable to get there .. the lad had just started school so I went back to the factory I used to work but full-time.
