I spotted this big lad today... Hormonal and grumpy so I took these pics and buggered off... He covered so much ground and appeared behind me that's my fill of rutting deer this year.. It'd far to risky to chance any more trips this week. I think that's a hornet big thing that had a loud buz lol

I managed to get a couple of clips of him calling & wrestling the shrubbery... he hasn't any real competition here tbh... so I guess a shrubs the next best thing

I was able to get about a couple of hundred yards from them once they had gone over a draining ditch .. But I didn't want to get to close to them .. I basically used the zoom on this camera

I kept my distance from him .. He can move a lot quicker than me and he was lower down than me which ment I could keep an eye on where he was.. Lol....

He has kept me on the run for weeks this one..lol very little calling until the weather cooled down so its been hard to find him.. I managed a quick glimpse of him last week which was lucky... I think this is the biggest stag I have photographed so far .. Quite a treat being able to watch him... He isn't even sending off the couple of smaller stags there no real match for him

I am off to the farm in the morning, just this last week I have been trying to get this big stag up here but he is spending most of his time in cover... I think its to warm tbh ..... last year was the same ... didnt get any pics of him untill 1st Oct I will have another go at the moon later ... try & get a clear pic of it regardless of colour

I still post the odd photo ... people dont look at them now. seen it all I guess so it seems pointless sticking stuff up on here tbh I agree with Pinnacle your pictures were always interesting Kay put more up, I've seen some of your FB stuff and you have a good eye for a picture....get posting woman I am getting out a bit more now the weathers cooler ... so I will stick a few up when i take some pics

I have been scouring e bay for a mural ... the ones I need are 8 pieces to fill the wall... not sure how easy they are to hang either ... only one way to find out .. best roll me sleeves up & get on with it
