If it's a beach holiday I'd have to go to Cornwall. Loads of great places in the UK. If I had the luxury to, I'd love to just spend all summer travelling the UK coast.

But Scotland isn't ruled by England. Scotland is ruled by the democratically elected representatives of the Union, just the same as every other region of the UK. Only difference being that you Scottish have far more devolved power than any other region and are getting more still. If you don't like the Union, fine, but don't make out you are ruled by the English and remember the English are as fragmented as the British. How do you find the action mounting in the stock with your tikka? Mine isn't seated as firmly as I would like but still capable of 200 yard magpies so can't be that bad, lol. They were seated firmly the day that I took each of them out of the box mate. Never had a problem since. If you are concerned drop it by a gunsmith. He'll be able to sort it out for you, but hey, 200 yard magpies? Yep, I'd be happy with that. Give it to them! Hooked a pike on a little 7 foot spinning rod years ago, it was a good double and had the rod about bent in a loop. I remember it just came cruising through the water at walking pace in front of me like a fecking submarine with the odd flick of it's tail, like me hooking it was a mere inconvenience to it's day. Not patronising at all. I wouldn't say I have an obsession over numbers, but I will use it as one judge of progression. If you're training to be stronger doesn't that make sense? That said I have come to realise through my 'thirst for knowledge' that that has tended to dominate my training and so limit my progress. Enjoyment soon wains when you can't figure out why you are in a rut... Embarrassingly I've spent too many years on that cycle, the past 18 months has been spent trying a new approach. Aren't they banned in some states? It's not really any different to any other frangible round. Only it fragments in a controlled way. Most of those 'blades' wouldn't even leave a human target in normal calibers. The video is just done for WOW effect.

Going down the 'humane as possible method is best' is a slippery slope... well at least if dog pulls a deer down, you know where it is and finish it humanly . where as unless it a clean kill with arrow to the heart , the deer could well piss off and and be slow death . its like anything man made weapon gun ,bow , can be lethal very true , but if not used to its full potential (skill) and not everybody got it lol . its not a slippery slope mate , its common sense not -
