Update, Totally f***ing wank! First test in serious weather and I might as well have been wearing a pair of jeans. Saturday in Border country in the snow on a bike and I was soaked to the skin. This clothing is marketed for extreme hunting, adventurers and military forces......... I'm of the opinion now that anybody relying on this stuff in a serious situation would die of f***ing exposure! Falkland trousers, LOL. maybe a Falklands summer day with no rain! Otherwise I like them, LOL. Doubt I'll be getting a refund........

I agree with that sentiment. However, if I were to buy again it'd be the bog standard Lite and simply fit an aftermarket stock. The comb on the factory stock is too low and I managed to crack my factory Hunter stock. So feck it, save the £100 and put it towards an aftermarket stock imo.

Just a heads up. The second season of the above is on Ch5. Six episodes on Demand 5 already. As before, plenty of wankers that in actual prehistory would have been drowned on the first fishing trip! LOL.

Inverted Totalitarianism. I've always and still do assert we live in a democracy, just that the electorate are too easily controlled to be free. It's totalitarianism through the manipulation of democracy. The Mob don't care for politics, they're emotional and reactionary, so long as this is true a democracy will always be controllable....... JMO.

Is this petition anything more than the users of a private service letting the owners know their feelings on this proposed change? What's wrong with that? Or are they asking for an actual legal change? FB have the right to do whatever they want. I don't think anybody is claiming otherwise....... Thoroughly enjoyable and a little sad to see it end. On our small syndicate shoot we've struggled to hold birds this year and got fairly poor returns, not too terrible though. I never quite managed to bag my first snipe on any of my walkabouts but then there were not the numbers compared to last year. Beaters day on Saturday, which I certainly made the most of! LOL. Then saw the season out in style on Monday with an invite from a friend to shoot on his beaters day some of the highest birds a game shot is ever likely to see! I'm not a fan of the Disco Sport, it's got a fat arse and looks soft. As far as Compact SUVs go I thought the face lifted FL2 looked more rugged. But I think the Disco 5 will grow on me, it's a more 'macho' version of the Sport. I do prefer the Disco 4 though, for the same reason I prefer the FL2 over it's replacement. The LR brand is just responding to the market. It's a very successful brand now and they're softening the looks to suit the market. Can't blame them. Any good propaganda slur has a foundation in truth to make it appear valid. Just because the animal rights lobby apply the theory wrongly to beat on hunters doesn't mean that the real science behind it is untrue.

As far as I'm aware they only have concepts as potential Defender replacements. None of which that I've seen I believe will be produced. New Disco 5 is out though I believe, being road tested. Follows the same styling as the Disco Sport. It's growing on me.......

Every spaniel I have known that was given the chance to kill rats has killed them just as passionately as any terrier. I wouldn't worry about the spaniel in the breeding negatively affecting things.

Perhaps you just live in a particularly volatile region for weather which makes the models less accurate. It seems reasonably accurate around here in the East Mid's.

Economic freedom is firmly the home of the right, in this respect the EU appeals to the right. It's also generally associated with national protectionist views. Whereas the left is associated with social equality, breaking down of regulation which allows a natural or unnatural favoring of certain groups, replacing it with regulation which enforces 'equality'. IMO this is not a left wing view at all but it has come to be represented by the liberal left nonetheless. Political science seems a bit more complex than the layman would have us believe. LOL

It doesn't matter how hard one studies the situation, at some point they have to take that view right there mate. It's going to be a gamble whatever way it goes, I just personally want to understand the situation better.

I am genuinely interested in what you think it is important to know mate......you are an educated bloke and I am not. Personally, if I was still in England I wouldn't care what happened as long as we get out......see for me, it's about much more than financial/economic implications. I believe that the world is at a very bad place politically and socially, from what I see of Brussels they are the very embodiment of all that is wrong with current western governments. I agree entirely, it does seem obvious. But if my choice is to have any negative consequences then I consider it my duty to be aware of them as much as is possible beforehand. It's too easy to just be ignorant. Even if I knew now that it was the right choice, I still want to understand the implications. These are the implications mate.......the sun will come up and the lights will still work......that's all we need to know

It's like replacing a firearm with a BB gun. It's absolutely no deterrent. We already posses the means to strike any target in the world with a conventional missile. The deterrent HAS to be nuclear at this stage, it's the only weapon available that has the effect of deterrence due to it's level of destruction. Non-nuclear is just not an option, not unless we can rain down hundreds of thousands of them on the enemy. If we had the ability to achieve the results of a nuclear strike with conventional weapons then we could talk about this. But we can't.

My heart says go, no negotiation, no f***ing about, just go........ any compromise is futile. But I have a lot of reading and thinking to do before I'm willing to risk my countries future on what my heart wants.
