Is it to do with unsuspended weight? Heavier wheels being less energy efficient I think, even if the rolling circumference is the same I believe.... Just a theory, might be a mile off. Be interesting to find out the truth.

Definitely easier than shovelling chicken breast and eggs an tuna down ya Gregory that's for sure!! If I'm at work some days I ain't got time to do f**k all else so knocking up a shake that is a guaranteed 50g protein is a bloody god send not just a convenience. It's funny, everybody has no time untill they want to make time. Protein shakes are just convenience, unless you actually like them, then it's a choice of the tastiest ways of sourcing your protein requirements. The point I was making is that they are not some necessary magical training need. They're a convenient, and to some t

Supplements won't do anything that a properly managed diet doesn't. You don't have to take protein shakes, they're purely for convenience. Far more important to get your calories and nutrients balanced in your diet. Have a look at fella called Layne Norton.

I wouldn't know where to start with the stock market but yeah you'd think so. Assuming they don't go bust! The Likes of Rio Tinto and BHP are playing the same game in the mining market that the likes of Aramco are playing in the oil market, they're flooding the market at a time of reduced demand to put the smaller players out of business.

There's plenty data analysis in my job yeah, but only in respect of developing a new tool or figuring out what has gone wrong with a job if the problem is tool specific. The geoscience guys do all the processing and analysis of the jobs. We only really get involved with that if they think they need a tool expert. Oh yeah, most of my work is acoustic, dipole sonic mostly, but also a fair bit of nuclear, density mostly but a bit of neutron work now and again. A lot of calibration improvements, tool design improvements etc, just working on new stuff for new markets or a change in business str

That's pretty cool. Thales? I've delved into the Sonar world a few times through work, same stuff as any other engineering type job I guess but the application is at least interesting. Do you ever get out on field trials? As for me, I'm a professional geek working in Research for oilfield and mineral logging. Do you do oilfield logging...? Production, intervention or exploration Yeah, well I work in an office/lab doing the R&D for the tools and supporting Operations when they have questions/stuff goes wrong. I'm not an actual logging engineer. Specifically wireline logging. A

TV series seem to be taking the lime light from film recently, no longer quite the difference between the two there used to be. A few series I've enjoyed recently, The Last Kingdom on BBC, about Alfred and the vikings. Blindspot on Sky, FBI thriller, kinda like a cross between Prison Break, Jason Bourne and CSI, LOL. If you're into comic book type stuff then Daredevil and Jessica Jones were both very good imo, much darker tone to the plots and keep the fantasy type stuff to the bare minimum. The Revenant looks fantastic from the trailers! And got Independence Day: Resurgence in the

Well I highly recommend the colston bassett stilton or the long Clawson not because there local but there regarded as some of the finest also a blue Shropshire red is nice The stuff i had came from a farmers market in Shropshire, not red though, creamy white, lots of green, strong taste to the cheese, slightly crumbly, maybe some local stuff? the one I had at Christmas was a Cropwell bishop Shropshire blue another one just on the doorstep ...there's some really good grub to be had from the east Midlands thinking about. Cracking clay shoot at Owethorpe in that area too!

One successful attack on a Saudi pipeline and we might all be paying £2 a litre, such is the fragility of the current market. LOL
-
I've just paid 99.9p per litre in Street/Glastonbury area, unleaded is the same price. Even though diesel is much cheaper to produce. Crude prices have dropped 50% or more recently and they only take less than 25% off the retail price. And we all think we're getting a good deal! Who's fault is that? If the commodity price drops by half the price at the pump cannot drop by the same factor......... Even if we ignore all the operating and processing costs of the oil companies and they literally give it away, it would still cost the consumer something like 70p a liter at the pump. Bren

Stoats are little hedgerow chavs! If you upset them they'll bolt out, shout a load of abuse at you and then leg it. Got to admire them. Had weasels display the same level of thuggery only from the safety of a rabbit's bolt hole, firing out venomously and retreating.

Based on the credentials of the witness, can we rule out a dog or cat?

Morale high at work then pal? Hope you have a good Christmas anyway LOL, morale is great, we're the lucky ones that still have a job! LOL. Hard times but those that ride out these storms are all the stronger when it's over. Cheers mate, merry Christmas to you and your family.
-
Loads of work to be done by end of week, no money to go about because the company is skint and reduced workforce because of never ending culls and austerity. Merry f***ing Christmas! LOL LOL

Trap them and release them somewhere more 'appropriate'........ ...... to bolster breeding stock.

Thanks for that, very interesting. All the best.

You'll have to forgive my lack of knowledge on US game etc but I'm guessing you don't have a lot of 'high reward' big game animals around you, elk, moose, bear etc? Having said that I would have thought white tail, muley, antelope size animals would go a long way when used optimally. What critters do you hope to hunt with the bow? Sounds excellent mate.
-
Do you foot stalk them, bait them or what? Be interested to hear! You've got wolves in Croatia right, but illegal to hunt them? Is that a mother and cub in the first pic? What's the story behind that?

Well, I'd just like to say how utterly f***ing wank Fortis customer service is....... They were quick to debit my money and yet I STILL haven't received my order! Totally shocking service and not replied to my recent e-mail. It's now over a week after the date I was given as the delivery date and I even had to chase them up for that! Shite service and most probably a shite product.

Yokel matt made that comment Sussex mate. LOL Must admit, I was thinking exactly the same. That is one smug looking hound! Bet you were well proud and rightly so.

Be very interesting to hear how you get on, keep us posted mate...
