    can anybody remember the pic brimmer put up on here a few years back,,, 8 foot trenched in on a bank,, and the back fill was very neat as well ,, i remember him saying the hob was trapped as well behind a rabbit..

    yep i get it now cheers for that i can see why the ozys use them ,,,like the bolt tunels,, they can drive up to each warren in the truck so no probs carrying gear,,,

    yeh ive done it with them with riggy set in,,, its like anything practice, but i think it best when there fresh,,,,

    wish somone would put a pic up,,, i understand what paulus means there called bolting flaps,, to stop rabbits hole hoping.. i have used those bolt traps,, that are like a wire mesh tunnel,, but im fecked if i know what you lot are on about

    yes giro you get some real woppers up there,, funny realy it seems to be the higher you get,,, but when you look at the grazing,, it doesnt seem as rich as in the dale bottoms, yeh start with a young doe,,a ferreted one as well, the dogs mess the insides up to much,, start right at the rib cage,, and you got to squeeze hard.. to be honest giro i think the gut flining is slower than getting your hand in,, somtimes you have to fling twice as the stomach somtimes get stuck.. stanly knife disposable gloves,, just a few second mate.... by the way it doesnt actualy come out the ra

    some of us are quiker than others giro,, yes he was very skilled at it,, and its a good vid, just keep trying mate there is a knack to it..

    i have also done it on pest control jobs in loft spaces,, with 2 people, it can save repeated visits to a property to empty traps, you can get a hole family in one go.. one man inside the loft, with the ferret on a line,,,, second man outside the house with air rifle,, shooting squirrels as they bolt on to the roof tops,,, provided the man outside is a good quik acurate shot it works a treat.

    you more than anyone should understand the value of good kit.... £100+ for good boots ect,,, i have 3 locators,, just had one of them serviced for the first time,,, had it well over 10 year..... see where im going with this.. dont get me wrong i somtimes have a wander, 1 ferret in the pocket, no locator.... or if im trying kits out ,,,, but your best off having one ,,, saves loads of time,, and adds rabbits to your bag. also dont belive any crap about digging ruining sets,, i have seen rabbits resuse sets that have had multiple digs on

    one of the best lamping rabbit bitches i have ever seen was a genuin half cross bull/grey,, and i dont mean staffy.... this was 20 + years ago,,, my mate owned here , when we first started attaking the dales... this bitch had as much staminar as any lurcher ive ever seen,, she was only about 22" proberbly 45-50lbs,, a great dog my mate mated her to his other bitsa type lurcher,, and i had a pup,, making her 1/4 bull,,,, she also was a good bunny basher ,, this is her the ruff bitch
