you could youse the same logic, to explain rings,,,,after all purse nets dont even need them............. i think some people think sliders are faster than rings,,, in all honesty i dowt theres anything in it,,,,, just somthing difrent and personal choise.. oh and of course making a slider saves you 10p on a ring

ive made some using 1mil galv fencing fire,, very easy to bend in to shape with the pliers

well sounds like a great time,, nice to be able to mix it up with the ferrets,, and having a few races as well,, i used to have land like that out by grantham,,, you could stand ferreting a warren on a hedge ,,, then one would sit up out on the seed,, and away the dog would go,,, great fun

had another look up there last night,, with poacherspocket, frankel, and ginnyspiner,, for the first hour or so, we walked out along the same fields, frankel and ginny with the labradoor, and me and poacher with vunus,,,, we put the two lads on the wood side wich has a bank infront of it,, we took the easy walking at the bottom of the fields,, trouble is the few bunnys that were out were on there side. by the end of the first hour we had 4 between us, so we decided to split up proper sending the boys on some land we did last thurs,,,, whilst me and andy, did some virgin terrortry..

ALL dogs are difrent mate, i have one here that come 6-7 was finished,,,, but had one still putting stuff away at 11...... theres nowt certain in working a dog,,, injurys can finish dogs very early somtimes..... well done trigger,, the young dogs doing well for you..

ok each to there own we all prefer difrent asepcts of fieldsports,, and personly i would support them all.....................but where are you going with this???

it depends on your individual dog,, there all difrent and when fully mature and fit,,, you have to lern what you can push them to do , without over dooing it,, none of my dogs could handle big nights out on the rabbits evrynight,,, 3 big nights would be max. however i could go round local, and give them a dozen evrynight,,, see what i mean... there are some dogs that could go go out and catch big numbers evrynight.... there all difrent

Ok i supposse its how you look at it,,, the two boys walked together with there dogs, and got 48 ,, andy was bag man for me and we got 53 with the one dog. i did drop the boys off on the next farm down, of course its a slow pointless prosses,,, 4 men and 3 dogs walking the same fields you will never get the same numbers.. re name the tile if you like,,,

shes doing good mate thanks,, we got soaked this afternoon,, hail rain ,ect ,,,,, she put the first 2 in the game bag,, then couldnt find a 3rd to run,,, driving home 4.30 to dark to see, i spoted 1 in the gloom,,, but she missed it,,,,,, 2 out of 3 aint bad. 2 day off now back out tues night , forcast very windy

yeh i have bits and bobs round me,,genraly just lamp for an hour or so round my place,, maybee get half a dozen or so and other bits... i used to do a lot more semi local round grantham sleaford ect over the last 20 years+, had some good bags 40 being the best..
