This isn't a look at/woe is me thread.... I urge anyone who has a health niggle to get it checked out, no matter! I've had a few health scrapes over the years and I've been pretty good at getting to the quacks an having a butchers. A few months ago, I had a seizure, which for all intents and purposes seemed to be epileptic (never had epilepsy). I just tried to ignore it and the dr.... Just walked out of the drs today and now I'm being rushed forward to see if the issue is a tumor. Tbh I'm fine with what comes out of it but this is to say.... Don't do what I did and leave it (esp

My old dog Trevor instinctively knew which were his runs and weren't. Never pulled, whined or shook. Politest dog I ever had, aside the staffy. He never took his eyes off the beam though, so I never bothered with having him loose when other dogs were running. Better not to put them in a situation where they can fail due to their drive ?

Fair enough, I'd like to see that mate I still think whippet blood is better suited for small fields and ferreting whereas bigger dogs for open land and longer courses. All opinion and conjecture.

Obviously they've never seen a beddyXwhippet ? Like TOMO said a grey or big lurcher isn't gonna be in the same league as a whippet,when ferreting or in small field busts. That info is based on straight lines/track, not in real world (maybe the cheeta) scenarios but a cheeta ain't running dry wall lined fields after a couple of rabbits ?

Exactly! Jess passed all her high school here with an overall 96% grade and had loads of different opportunities offered. She decided to go back to Blighty to study her A levels. They then told her she can't because she had no GCSE's. They made her do 3 in 3 months, which obviously didn't allow her to get decent grades (3 C's). All learning can be taught as a game from a young age. I used to play questions with my kids everytime we were out in the van. Maths, spelling, naming things etc. Take it in turns and make it fun. Our Jess used to have a smile from ear to ear everytime she got the questions right and the look of clarity on her face when she got it wrong and then understood why, well it can't be bought. Kinell she could name nearly every Who song and spell them by the time she was six ?

The swedish lads being a bit vikingy and lairy pulled these tins out and explained it. I was game and grabbed a tin, all the Swedish lads were shouting no no no as they were running away.... the tins are pressurised! Was watching Gallipoli last night, there's a part in the film where the old man is reading a book to the kids..... The jungle book - Rudyard Kipling An absolute fantastic book. I haven't read it since I was a boy, just downloaded it to read again ?
