Definately NOT falling over them matey...like Tomo said we struggled to get 10 early doors last night and being truthful i thought we were gonna get perhaps a dozen or so at best BUT we plodded on and then plodded on some more lol..we just kept on going until we found some bunnies...finding them ones thing then catching and carrying the f*****g things is another haha...sometimes the way to go is just put your head down and just battle on and HOPE!! .ATB Andy. In my opinion,...taking everything into account,...(and I have been around a long while ),...the selectively bred lurchers of today, are a vast improvement on the old style jukels.... Romance and legend all deserve their rightful place in lurcher folklore,..but, ya gotta keep it real. I am a rabbit hunter,..pure and simple,...(mostly simple,.. ) but, the dogs that I grew up with, did not have the advantages of the 21st Century, with all the knowledge and information that is on offer.... Truth is,...disregarding the guys who simply breed pups early as poss,..(for whatever reasons),..lack of experience, perhaps to make a fast buck, or just sheer stupidity?,...I believe the best way, is to give it time and 'wait and see',..and then, make an educated decision as to how best to improve your working stock...and as such, that journey can take several seasons,..BUT,....there have been times in my life, when I should of gone with my hunch, and got a good quality bitch mated up to a certain stud,.BEFORE the unlucky feckers got themselves mullered
