Nice story... And personally, I would sooner GIVE such a fellah a puppy than sell it for a few quid.. This is how things, used to be, same with ferrets, and I suppose, earth dogs as well... WE all experience crippling damage, and accidents to our workers, and it is good to know that by placing your prefered types, in the hands of genuine guys, if, they ever, decide to keep that style of lurcher going, and, have a litter,..you only have to ask, and you are back in business again... Anyway,..my advice, to the original thread starter, would be to , take it nice and slow,..hang on

Just a few lines to inform his friends, that FURDY (Adrian) passed away today. Last year he was diagnosed with Lung Cancer ,..and although the prognosis indicated the cancer to be terminal,..Furdy was determined to live out, what remained of his life, to the full... I was so pleased to have been in his company,.and his amazing bravery, taught me so much about myself Throughout the last rabbiting season, I took Furdy everywhere with me, whenever he wanted to come out..and, I am genuinely going to miss, the game wee fellah... In his last few months, he developed a real interes

Untreated Tripe??

Only bleached for human consumption. I feed tripe. The protein content isn't that great but it's cheap and easy to get. Would need to be fed in addition to a quality mixer. Years ago I used to feed tripe and sheeps heads. The dogs did really well on it - they'll eat the whole sheep's head apart from the lower jaw and teeth. Had to watch the bone intake though as their stools could become really hard. Puppies used to love split open sheep's heads. Brilliant tucker,.but nowadays,..extremely difficult to get hold of , darn sarf... -
