The Jack Russell should never be under 12" (nothing should be smaller than 12",lol ) but if the KC want to wreck another type of dog, let them at it. The JRT has been recognised by the KC for quiet a few years now under the more profitable name of the "Parson Russell". Those who want to keep the type as a proper worker will show their true loyalty when there's many ££££££££££ waved in their faces.

Totally agree with Blackbriar, Jack Hargrieves brought fieldsports to mainstream TV but the Hounds and The Huntsman is a must see.

Dog thieves Bonehead ?????

It would have a lad living on his nerves Jigsaw and as you said there's nearly nothing an ordinary decent lad can do, but I'm saying nearly. The most annoying thing is that most of the time the dogs get sold on. Who's buying them ? The ask no questions brigade, that's who. IMO that makes up around 90% of those who call themselves dog folk.

Incredible. Was it a case of being in the right place at the right time or were you expecting to see them ?

So what you're saying Cushty is that the man in the book was the 2nd last poacher, LOL.

Dabchick In The Swampsnot

I love watching them dive. For a member of the Grebe family they live around here on some small rivers but in the last few years I rarely see them. -
Pablo, I had Dixie's grandfather and seen all her grandparents, some Gt. Grandparents and many more. Friends owned those generations before that. There's no point in knowing half the story IMO.

It was a good litter Smithwick, but the other bitch I kept for myself ,Banner, didn't make the grade. So thankfully I had Dixie, LOL. One other bitch in that litter also lived to a good old age (despite a hard working life and getting crossed with a car) and the lad who had her still has some of her blood about him and I recently got a PM of another member to say a litter bred this year went back to her too. I hope they do their ancestors proud. That's all I want to hear. Dixie's mother was Pip who I bred from 4 times to 4 different dogs and pups out of all 4 litters done their breeding pro

At this stage I reckon if you asked 10 vets what's the correct procedure to inoculating a pup you would get 10 different replies. What age for first jab ? What age for second ? Do they need the second ? When is it safe to bring them out ? Do they need a yearly booster ? It's hard to believe that for something so serious that there's nothing written in black and white. I, personally, will continue doing what I've done for 30 years and one of those things is that once a pup is inoculated it's safe to bring it out straight away. That's if you really want to bring a 12 week old pup anywhere

Kielder Foxhounds..facebook..antis..do Not Like!!
neil cooney replied to steveio's topic in Hunting With Hounds
I presume the owners of Facebook are the typical nerds that seem to own those social media sites so I doubt they're hunters or even outdoor type folk. But I doubt their going to ban hunting related topics on FB because obviously there's 1000's of idiots who want to see that shite and 1000's of idiots = £££££. But another thing I doubt is that the anti's are doing much to get hunting taken off FB and this should send alarm bells ringing. Let's face it, the idiots are doing the anti's work for them. JMHO, but we who take our hunting and dogs seriously need to start sending a big message to t -
Who told you that you've to wait a week after the final jab ?

If anyone's doubting the breeding of your dog, I had a pure APBT the spitting image of him. I'm sure he'll cover a few bitches in his time if he works out for you and it sure wont be lack of condition that he'll want for. He's a beauty.

14 years ago I bred a litter of 7 and after I picked my pup I was giving 5 to friends and said I'd keep the last one of them as my 2nd pup. The lads came to look at the litter and straight away one of the lads stood on one of the pups toes and this pup sat in the corner crying the whole time the lads were there. As a result she was the pup that I was left with. She's Dixie, now 14, living in the house enjoying retirement and what I wouldn't give to be able to turn the clock back 10 or 12 years. She was NOT the pick of the litter

I like that, Whitehackles I'd say.

You're wrong Giro, cat's are just pets and never leave the garden.

If I've counted correctly he looks like a 16 pointer and a matching pair too. He's a very fine animal.

Oh, thanks Fireman.

I think there's a lot of Jewish folk would disagree.

The way I look at it is that if someone breaks the law in any way or form and then put's up the evidence on Facebook or any web site they've already been grassed on, by themselves. I've no time for grassing but I've no sympathy for fools who hang themselves. The Police must pray everyday to the Good Lord and thank him for Facebook. I heard recently of a young lady loosing her dole after she put up on FB how much she'd spent on a party, LOL.

I thought a bully cock would produce chicks to a finch or canary hen but she wont rear them ???

Recharge is around 3 times the price of electro-lytes used for calves with scour. When you compare the ingredients of the two they are the same. Yet, when having a similar discussion on here a year or two ago I mentioned this. Someone said I was giving bad advice as the ingredients would be in different amounts for dog to calves. Does anyone know if this is true ? I was using Lectade years ago before there was anything for dogs.
