  1. Ha ha, Paulus's chemist has a serious opinion of him. Hope it's a male chemist, LOL.
  2. What's worrying KIng is that after showing a photo you've had 5 likes !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. That's women for ye, ye give them nothing, they moan, ye give them something, they still moan.
  4. Here in Ireland Cider only became popular around 20 or so years ago and I often heard it called Tinkers Whiskey. During the war apparently Cider was stored in old Whiskey barrels and the cider drew the whiskey out of the oak, making it stronger. It was cheap and blew yer head off and the Tinkers loved it. Anyone ever heard it called Tinkers whiskey before. Bulmers and Magners is the same by the way. Bulmers in Eire, Magners else where. I fancied The Cider Maker in the 2.55 in Plumpton today. Third.
  5. Brilliant show. But how can anyone watch and enjoy that show and then say hunting with dogs is wrong ? The like of Cwis Packham would get off watching that show and the following day contribute in some way to stop hunting. Doesn't make sense IMO. Maybe it's just the fact that there's a human element to fieldsports, which also contributes to a quicker death by the way. Anyone a fan of the show "Caught in the act". Now that's nature in the raw.
  6. Well it is Halloween time o year Sussex, very appropriate.
  7. As BGD said, there's worse done by pros and they asking for a lot of money too. Well done, you'll soon have the boys on here worried.
  8. And the moral of the story is never go trapping with you lot because ye'll just be praying for an accident.
  9. Even more mooching for the whippet so Keith.
  10. What I would give to see Alugan back on the market. A few quid a sachet for clean healthy dogs.
  11. Nice one Marshman and a nice one young terrier. As has been said watch the mange, on both you and the terrier. I got a bad dose of it off a fox once and to make matters worse I gave to the family. My daughter was only a baby at the time. Funny enough, some dogs wont work them properly when they've got it. They know damn well IMO.
  12. Personally I find that photo offensive. What sort of a hunter reads The Sun ?
  13. Don't know how. The lad is obviously after a terrier for looks and as this is a working terrier forum it should be a short one.
  14. Watched the first half of it. To be honest it was rough. Young lions being reared in shitholes and another young lion walking around barely able to use it's back legs. It showed a large male coming in to a bait and the client pumped six bullets quickly into him. What was good was that some of those investigating were authentic hunters. I've no problem with big game hunting whatsoever but it seems wrong that you can ring a company to book a hunt and they show you on-line photos of 14 lions and ask you which one would you like to kill Sir. That's not hunting and it was good to see real hunt
  15. I know a woman who loves a Dickens Cider, never had it myself. But when she has a few drinks on her all she talks about is the first time she had a Dinkens Cider and how much she loves a Dickens Cider. She also has a friend who also loves a Dickens Cider, I'm looking forward to meeting her too.
  16. Normally I would say "you lucky fecker" but today I'll say "you lucky F****R", great day.
  17. No body on this site ever had a problem with Trunks threads. In FACT, everyone said they enjoyed them. It got mis-interpreted. It would be great to see good photos as long as lads are sensible because at the end of the day it's the lads who are stupid that tend to get the knock on their door early in the morning. I agree with Socks, be proud.
  18. Reminds me of the old one,,,,, Why has an elephant four feet ? Because six inches would look stupid.
  19. Sorry Omanyra, couldn't resist it, even though you gave the lad good advice.
  20. Just my take on things. Over the years where wolves have been hunted they've learned to respect humans accompanied by dogs. So the breeds that have been used over the years to guard flocks have firstly been reared and bred to mingle with the sheep and goats and secondly been bred to intimidate wolves and other predators. Conflict, hopefully wouldn't come into it.
  21. I presume by the farmers daughter or wife, not by the farmer himself ?
  22. I'd put up a big "LMFAO" if shooting someones dogs or hounds wasn't so serious. You couldn't make it up.
  23. There's plenty of dogs that wont look at a fox but love their shit, especially rolling in it. Ragging that dummy will definitely make sure your pup will retrieve bunnies, LOL.
