I didnt think Joshua was good enough to carry an opponent and make it look convincing in the way Mayweather did with Mcgregor....but hard as it is to fight someone who is not fighting you it was clear to see Joshua up the pace and intensity in the 5th/6th.....i was kind of hoping the Jake lad would be killed or at least seriously mangled as it would bring the sport into disrepute and stop any of this nonsense happening in future but i can see it getting worse and worse.....very worrying times for the sport in my opinion.

I quite like the way you appreciate Xmas and the traditions of Xmas the older you get.....years ago it was literally " give us a list and i'll get it all " you'd just sling money at it without any thought at all,especially for the kids......these days me and the wife,close friends etc put a limit on it say 20 quid each and really put a lot of thought into it.....the grandkids can have anything they like but for the adults it just makes it all much more fun and personal.....anyway all the best to everyone on here Merry Christmas chaps.

Not to be too critical but feeding raw and kibble in the same bowl was always a big no no.....completely different digestion times etc. And the British Isles producing more working dogs than anywhere....wow thats a bold statement couldnt agree there.

The only real way to have an equal playing field in top level sport is with the Biological Passport which i think will come into operation over the coming years.....its basically a signature for every elite level sportsman that will trigger if they deviate too far away from their own signature.....we're in an age where the testers are lagging behind and all top athletes are at it and so the Biological Passport really is the only way to set a fair and level playing field from a competitive point of view.

People thought this Saudi caper was going to save boxing but the fact is its just creating a huge gap between the Saudi's favourites and the other 98% of the sport......yes we'll get the biggest fights at the right times now but not with any kind of legit sporting integrity.....or else why are the Saudis not throwing money at a Usyk v Parker fight right now. Ultimately the heavyweight division rules the sport and if that is allowed to be exploited and influenced then the rest will follow unfortunately.

Ive said for years now.....this is where the boxing commissions have to step in and use force......the fear i believe they have is that promoters and suchlike will just say " ok then we wont box for your titles "......and then you have an end to the sport and the start of pure entertainment./WWF. From the minute that whole Mayweather/Mcgregor fight was made i said this will be the beginning of the end for boxing as a competitive sport.

I think there was a part of Bugner that played off the whole villain role much like Eubank did later on.....he knew he wasnt liked but was good enough to let his hands do the talking in most cases....he always came across with a bit of attitude kind of like " if you cant join them beat them " mentality. I didnt realise his entire career spanned over 30 years !!....amazing.

Brought a bit of a tear to my eye this,i lost somebody last year who i used to love playing chess with we would have games that went on for literally weeks,every time i visited we would take a couple of moves each then the board would be left in the corner for next time....lovely memories. Im in the process of teaching my Grandson at the moment i love the game it was a big thing on the estates we grew up on as kids kind of brought the generations together.
