  1. Its called an Angioseal....its like a small collagen plug, just a normal surgical plug or if its through the wrist they normally use a pressurised cuff.
  2. What a sad state of affairs society is in when children cant even trust history anymore.
  3. With my mob i always booked Rice as one of those Gerrard types powerful running with the ball, timing his runs to crop up in the box, breaking things up etc.....but at Arsenal he fits in rather than dominates which i guess being amongst better players allows him to do that....he WAS our midfield whereas at Arsenal he's a part of it. Haarland/DeBruyne are the perfect match i agree......reminds me a little bit of the Dalglish/Rush partnership years ago,the creator who can also score great goals with the out and out finisher. Dont know why im always comparing to Liverpool players someone
  4. Thats it mate yes.....as a neutral both sides are brilliant to watch but City just seem to have a killer instinct that Arsenal dont have yet.
  5. All you are doing mate is showing how naive your understanding of boxing is......an older Klitchsko gave a much better performance against Joshua than he did against Fury....it happens. The Joshua/Klit fight was probably the best heavyweight title bout in the last 30 years......the Fury/Klit fight was probably the worst.....its just boxing and how styles gel......a Fury/Usyk fight has the prospects of being a good interesting fight if it is refereed strongly....if it has a weak referee who allows Fury to maul and hold it will be a terrible spectacle. Loads of ingredients go into a fi
  6. Odegaard seems to play the simple passes with such forward thinking intellect its like he sees pictures of play and tries to develop them he often looks on another level to his team mates to me do you think Rice is on his wavelength yet or something that develops over time maybe ?.......im not sure Jesus is physically up to the talent thats behind him in the way Debruyne connects with Haarland for instance would you agree ?
  7. Oh ffs can you not string a sentence together without Fury coming into your thoughts ! Whos raving !!!.....Naz fought for world titles,Whittaker has just started his pro career. In your eagerness to debate just stop and think what you are saying from time to time
  8. Yeah i know mate i was just thinking out loud really
  9. Its odd that Fury is wearing an open face head guard 2 weeks out from a big fight, some people dont like full face headguards but it looks pretty poor, scrappy up close sparring its either very naive or just unprofessional that nobody thought it a good idea to address the issue before an accident happened.
  10. Absolutely.....smashing lad John went further than his ability should have taken him which was down to hard word and dedication....i was around that gym early on its lovely to see John leave the game financially sound and everything intact.....pity a few of the others didnt but thats life,John has a lot to be proud of.
  11. Those herky jerky unorthodox movements Naz made had a lot of brains behind them, creating momentum from odd angles etc.....whereas this lad Whittaker at the moment is standing in range doing them for no reason other than to " be different " in my opinion.
  12. Hard sparring 2 weeks out is off the agenda if you have had a full camp......if you havent had a full camp your reactions and timing will not be where they need to be in order to start tapering off which most fighters do 2 weeks out......again,it doesnt hurt Fury for this fight to be postponed thats a fact.....the rest you just make your own mind up.
  13. Mate you are too emotionally wrapped up in Fury to have a sensible discussion about him.....its like talking to a besotted schoolboy for crying out loud ! Fury has faults that you cant/wont see lets leave it at that.
  14. Lets see how Whittaker perfects that style when he starts fighting the calibre of opponent Naz fought
  15. Nothing new mate its how it always was i dont have a problem with it.....only fans who now book ourselves as a big club should really be getting annoyed....and i never have. Anyway id still prefer that Odegaard given the choice, some player that boy id imagine he's made the move pretty comfortable for Rice the way he plays.
  16. Oh,there you go thats what i meant
  17. Bless him nail your colours to the mast early on good lad
  18. Edited due to misunderstanding
  19. Am i right in thinking those murals are outside a cricket ground over there ?......thats what happens when you let them build their own stuff

    Bravo

Keep seeing plenty of these number plates round our way lately.
  21. I think as fans we can over complicate things sometimes......Moyse wanted a certain type of player and Philips fitted the bill and took advantage of the situation at City......im sure as a club we looked around at what was available. Describing Philips as bang average and taking nothing to work at other than fitness is a bit silly the lads a top international player thats reached the highest level of the game if Moyse can get him back at that level then great,if not thats life but having had good conversations with what is only a 28 year old lad the club obviously feel its a chance worth
  22. You are calling it " shape " and its not shape its weight....he is at a low weight you have no idea how fit he is in that picture.......and no i dont live with him how would i know when he has been at that weight before ! Yes 4th time.....he ducked the Saudi skills challenge offer in Feb.....then Wembley in April....then when it was signed for December.....he is aging Usyk out its not rocket science.
  23. It was a shame really Azeez is a better fighter than he showed the other night he just had too much respect for Buatsi which again,is a downside of fighting a former sparring partner. Regards Whittaker...not my cuppa tea mate, looks to have good ability and reactions, big for the weight etc......but the way they compare him to Naz i dont buy it......Naz was really clever with those mad movements whereas this lad just seems to be trying to look " cool ".....as he go's up in class of opponent i can see him walking onto something big....talented lad for sure but the showboating all just seems
  24. Just because they was posted recently doesnt mean they was taken recently.......again lads like you will just believe whatever you like. " Putting effort in " to be a sensible weight isnt the same thing as being supremely fit,to say you can see he is supremely fit from a photograph is just silly talk. Nobody is saying it isnt a real cut but again, when a man pulls out of a fight for a 4th time, only the most naive and gullible die hard fanboy wouldnt raise an eyebrow in suspicion !
