No i gave myself a season off mate,been a painful year as we've discussed and just couldnt face it....first time since i was about 13 that ive not been to a game all season but hoping to get the old itch again as time passes.....from what pals tell me they just need a good clear out down there loads of dead wood and a feeling of low expectation around the club which seems a shame after the highs of a couple of years ago....typical West Ham though mate whats that song again

If theres no strength in it ( which im sure theres not ) then what a disgusting sign of the times when a national icon like that who has brought so much joy into several generations of lives could be totally despised and deminished in such a way......social media could do with banning in my opinion.

Got into an argument in a boozer earlier on defending an old icon.....according to a few boss eyed f****n idiots in my local British society is just waiting for David Jason to pop his clogs before announcing that he was one of Jimmy Savilles lot........pleeeease no,i couldnt take it Apparently its a big topic of discussion on social media platforms etc anybody who does that stuff ?........it'd break my heart if he was !!

Sounds a bit extreme and somewhat unrealistic to me......deport his entire family,let it be known there are consequences to raising hateful little third world c**ts who wish to do us harm......make the family who raised him accountable. Had a little package holiday in Rhodes with Tui a few years ago, our apartment was completely flooded after a freak flash flood,im talking 4 inches deep water throughout the apartment......with no more available rooms we got on the blower to Tui who sent a rep over who's response was " we can provide you with towels to dry it up " ......never again !

Dont you chaps think its a bit ludicrous how either Spurs or the Mancs are going to be playing in the Champions League next year having likely finished 15th/16th in the league....seems ridiculous to me what a kick in the bollocks for clubs like Forest and Villa who have had fantastic seasons yet probably wont even get in the 2 bob European competition my lot won,something should be done about it at least my little Hammers won that trophy after finishing in a high league position. Absolute pox of a season for West Ham.....Moyse must be pissing himself laughing at us !

Ive had a few quid tied up in vintage wine/whisky for years,with the right brokers its easy money you can literally just forget about,they do all the work i just get statements and the odd bit of advice when to buy/sell etc over the years on the whole ive probably trebled what i originally invested.....unless you chuck a lot of money at it its not going to make you rich but an interesting little sideline.

I only book stuff separately these days as i like to decide myself when ive had enough and want to come home Between Jet2 and Tui though id say Jet2 all day long,they do at least look after you when things go tits up unlike them Tui c**ts who just shrug their shoulders at you !....just my experience of them anyway.

Same as what Pardus says mate short term relief is the main benefit....an ache or soreness after a morning session that may otherwise prevent you from doing an aftenoon session are the physical benefits.....the mental benefits some folk say are a boost in mood and more mental resilience....but thats not proven,i dont buy it personally.

Unless you are a competing athlete consistently stressing the body during hard training you have no need for ice baths....ice baths are similar to steroids they just allow faster recovery between training sessions. Anyone with a heart condition should avoid them full stop as they increase heart rate and blood pressure.

Shithole city pubs are nothing new mate didnt you grow up in South London .......yes they were more community orientated back then but this is why we should be trying to keep these old customs and traditions alive in my opinion,if we cant promote and encourage our own culture in our own country we cant then moan when they're taken off of us. John was up to his neck in it he didnt quite fall into the category of squeaky clean role model type i was referring to Boxing and pubs went hand in hand back then certainly in East London lots of gyms were on a pub premises and it was quite normal for ex fighters to move into that game,very few had troubles as local faces of the day just wouldnt tolerate anyone moving in on a celebrated local sportsman....parts of East London had solid communities back then who would protect and stand up for their own. Thats sad to read Ray you always come across as a nice chap who really cared for his dog......have some time out now mate particularly if you live alone it will make a new arrival at some point all the more special.....i think that " get straight back on the horse " attitude wears a bit thin as we get older......summers round the corner enjoy some fresh air and get yourself out and about,all the very best mate.

I dont have the stats so its only my opinion but money will play a huge part in the post career mental state of sportsmen.....for example fighters who have selfishly dedicated their early lives to boxing but also started a family,retire from boxing usually in their early 30's then have to go and get a job,the money just wasnt there to sail off into the sunset like they can today look how many fighters have taken pubs Terry Spinks being one....off the top of my head Alan Rudkin,Bruce Woodcock,esteemed footballers like Bobby Moore,Terry Venables all took pubs as they still had to feed their fami

At a time when you was more famous/infamous in Canning Town/West Ham if you was a criminal than a sportsmen guys like Terry Spinks and Bobby Moore were idolised for their sporting purity,their honesty and role model qualities.....Spinks,Ronnie Redrup,Ralph Charles they made West Ham Abc one of the most elite boxing clubs in the country,bigger than Repton at that time and it brought a lot of adoration locally as amateur sport and pro sport had a similar following their wasnt such a gap in popularity as there is today.......they was all before my time but the one i always admired from our manor
