Pie & Mash,Jellied Eels etc are just good cheap traditional daytime convenience foods its hardly a gourmet meal !.......i dont go a bundle on Eccles Cakes or Cornish Pasties but respect the traditions that go with them in the areas they are from and will give them a go when there......nobody walks out of Manzes licking their lips in ecstatic culinary satisfaction but you've filled a hole sat around common local folk. -

Its always been the same making money from crime is the easy part....keeping and spending it is the hard part......naive,opportunist types get greedy and want to keep every penny they make whereas folk who have been around a bit pay the people who need to be paid,everyone go's on their merry way and the wheels keep turning. Decent post that i kind of agree,though i generally couldnt care less what folk get up to im hardly Mother Theresa and i accept we all have our vices but the human nature aspect is what fascinates me.....we all pretend it doesnt but like attracts like and as men we simply prefer to be around folk like ourselves....in general weed smokers wouldnt enjoy being around me and i dont enjoy being around them im a chatty competitive driven type of person and most of them seem to be laid back non competitors who you have to drag a conversation out of i just find most of them draining and a little bit b

As a young man i spent a bit of time working on the door of a club in Leicester Square,the first Monday of every month was " gay night ".....it was absolutely hilarious watching all these mincers just letting everything out,this was back when they didnt flaunt it like they do today so they really went for it....in fairness it was normally a trouble free night though i do remember it all going off a few times and quickly learning that some of these faggots were fit little c**ts who could have a row,certainly not to be underestimated when it came to a tear up....funny days ?

It always did that was never any different......but the sport always protected itself.....i like to think the BBBoC is still one of the sports best governing bodies and cant imagine Robert Smith putting a green tick to any of this shit......it would only need one of these kids off the internet to lose his life in the ring and we're probably looking at an end to the sport as we know it.

I get that whole rhythm thing to throwing Phil Taylor used to talk about how important it was but surely a basic " take more care " attitude has to come into it when you've just thrown 2 poor darts,the amount of 3rd darts he just threw away through sticking with rhythm was shocking......ok i didnt know he was iffy under pressure and Wright seems to have a fantastic temperament.....is Chisnal not one of the top bods anymore then ive never understood how they work the rankings out i presume its a bit like the snooker and dependant on tournaments entered etc....but yes you still like to think a "

My issue is in sports that have governing bodies to stop shit like this,its still happening......what are governing bodies there for if not to protect the sport from exploitation !!

I thought Smith looked overwrought last night,didnt play anywhere near as well as he can and had no consistency......id think this years tournament is tainted really what with 3 of the top players out re Covid......cant take to that Peter Wright geezer either comes across like a complete melt !

Ive never understood that either....admittedly i didnt really even start drinking alcohol until my 50's but have still always loved the pub atmosphere and general social occasion of being around booze.....no way could i sit indoors drinking on my own though i think id feel a bit of a sad case......as said,not a dig just not for me.

The main thing for me is the fact that basic non competitors can now enter the competitive world of fight sports and if your face fits get taken seriously......and why boxing ? why not football or cricket......we know theres always been a bit of showbiz attached to boxing but this caper is just going too far....i wouldnt wish injury on any sportsman but if im sitting in Canelos shoes or the equivalent top notch mma guy im half hoping one of these lads gets hurt and put an end to this nonsense.

Sadly we're seeing more and more of this attitude and it'll have a terrible effect on yours and my grandkids this is our country and their lives you are quitting on......while i agree and understand to an extent about not unduly " worrying " about it all i think its perfectly natural,essential even,in this current climate to stand up and defend your own/voice your opinions/use your vote etc every opportunity you get.

Excellent win for Anthony Yarde last night i dont think theres a light heavy in the world who puts their punches together as well as he does......if he can up his ring iq and work rate i cant see how he wont win a world title at some point. Some absolute madness in the arena there must have been at least 8 or 9 fights breaking out all over the gaff but no mention in the media i wonder why ....starting to become a bit too frequent at Frank Warren shows it spoiled an otherwise good night of boxing.
