I cant be f****d with all that boycotting sport id watch it if it was free so a couple of quid aint going to put me off.....i like watching boxing whether its a small hall show or Khan/Brook....but agreed Khan/Brook to me is just a battle of who is less finished...i cant really see where the winner go's let alone the loser...and the " rivalry/hatred " zzzzzzzzzzz pull the other one.....as for who wins i couldnt care less just hope its an entertaining fight.

I was over the moon for John its about time a decision went his way i still say he should of got the nod against Callum Smith.....on the night i thought John had done enough to win but that was probably emotion talking,having watched it back on telly id say Jacobs by a couple.....but again,the lad deserves a break and hopefully he can now make life changing money on the back of it.

So is it normal practise or not ?.......thats all im asking. We can read into it however we see fit but an independant party campaigned for a spoiled ballot and virtually half the rest of the votes were a spoiled ballot......again,im not clued up on the inner workings of politics but the fact that lefties are playing it down tells me it went very well.

Hence folk need to speak honestly and have more and more uncomfortable conversations about delicate subjects .....to be truthful the actual mechanics of politics bores the living daylights out of me as do the people involved in it....but i dont mind a bit of campaigning and getting out there chatting to folk,opening some eyes etc i find it good for the soul and like you say a bit of something is better than a lot of nothing.

Must admit Skys promotion of this fight reeks of desperation and maybe thats the post lockdown times we're in........but " ferocious rivalry " f**k off nobody gives a shit about these two.

We've all lived on estates mate....when i did i wasnt lucky enough to have a garden but then i dont spose theres much dispute to who's balcony is whos ?......hopefully it all gets sorted peacefully anyway.

So you're saying that a total amount of spoiled votes being roughly the same as the rest of the parties combined is normal practise ?.........not from what ive been told its not but then its not my game i dont know.

Just out of curiosity have you asked him what it is he's copped the hump about if he was cool with it a year ago ?.....might it be that he's got the rough side of the fence ?.....seen plenty of fall outs about who gets the rough and who gets the smooth maybe a compromise would be to spin them round if it thats the case and it dont bother you.

?....they put a plan in place and it worked,it really is that simple.....i only recently learned that spoiled votes have to be witnessed and recorded id love to have a look through some of them findings ?

His over confidence going into the Hagler fight was due to the fact he had beaten Antuofermo twice quite comfortably whereas Hagler only drew with him i think it might even been the fight after Hagler drew with him that Minter beat him to get the title......but yes agreed regardless,Hagler every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

As i remember he had said he would never lose his title to a black man.....ooops. It would be fair to say there was a large contingent of NF in the arena that night i always remember Harry Carpenters commentary " people are throwing beer cans into the ring one just landed on me "..........not the cleverest night for British boxing unfortunately.

Fair enough....but if you add the votes of the Independent who put the leaflets out in the first place to the f**k off's its pretty much even........either way its a big statement in a constituency that only 3 years ago had a 65k turnout with 250 spoiled votes.

Apparently there was more spoiled votes than the rest of the votes combined ! Ok after the David Amess thing the Torys were always going to romp home on sympathy votes alone......but the spoiled ballots speak volumes in quite a clever way in fairness.

Well Mr.Bosun sir,thankyou once again you have definitely become my " go to " film critic on here !.....what a film. Im into one of my insomnia stages lately and whacking films on at ridiculous hours....put this Railway Man on the other night but thought it was going to be a love story and lost interest....then someone else told me about it so gave it another go ...fantastic......strangely satisfying ending i must be getting old !....cheers

? Folk always associate Minter with East London but he wasnt even a Londoner he was from down Gatwick way managed by old man Bidwell.....in fairness the last place Minter should of been training was above a pub bless him !

He's nobody famous mate just another scruffy little oik out the flats ?....in them days if you boxed for West Ham or Repton as a kid you would train at The Oak on a Sunday morning to be around the big names of the day and seasoned old timers etc....yes Frank trained there as did many others it was probably the most sought after gym for sparring in the country at the time.

This was upstairs late 70's it was a great combination of rough old boys and spiteful young kids ?.....its a shame really its been a cash converters,estate agents,now a restaurant........money is creeping into the area now but yes you're right it should go back to being a pub.

Im told there was a record number of spoiled ballots which was solely down to the campaigning of the British Freedom Party.......i believe every home in Southend received a BFP leaflet via the good old postie requesting either a no vote or spoiled ballot. In 2019 65,000 votes went in with 250 spoiled ballots. The other week 15,000 votes went in with 1000 spoiled ballots. People are starting to listen.

Grown men wearing tracksuits away from sport no im not having that ?.....reminds me of a night out a few years back we was all off out for a nice meal and my pal bowls up in an old Woolworths type tracksuit top,black pe shorts,a pair of long grey school socks and them noncey pe slippers with the nasty elastic bit across the front....oh man he got some laughs,fair play though he kept it on all night and had treacles flocking over him !
