Or a hedgehog or two. TC Shame you don't seem to see them around half as much as you did years ago. Lay a fishing net out to dry overnight, it pulls them in from miles around. Seriously though, slug pellets after badges try Badgers, must be the biggest cause of the decline of the hedgehog. Not to mention the Song thrush. TC

Through not watching what I was doing i down loaded viruses and spyware on to my PC. I got rid of most of them myself, but there was one that would not just bugger off. So I sent Flipper_Al a pm asking for advice. Al spent two days and two pages of PM's helping me, and even though I made a mess of somethings he never lost patients with me. I cannot thank him enough, it takes a special type of person who is willing to give up their time and knowledge to help others. So Al thank you very much it really is appreciated. TC

In very early days wars were a form of population control. Once upon a time in the big valley there were two tribes the Norths and the Souths. They lived each side of the big river and everything was peaceful, until the population got so big the land could not support the tribe. Not trying to teach my granny to suck eggs, but if I may a little suggestion regarding the pup. Sometimes it is not possible for a dog to track with ground scent, and with the pointer in the breeding it might be an idea to use the wind and teach the dog to air scent also. It really is not difficult, all it means when you send the pup out for a find and retrieve as you did in the video, cast him down wind of the retrieve and work him into the wind. The rest he will do himself. TC -

Not wishing to piss on your chips, but even though you have what sounds like an idyllic lifestyle now, it has come at a price. You have had to conform to what is classed as the norm, for the last god knows how many years to earn the right to your idyllic life. I don't wish to sound like sour grapes, because I believe your an inspiration and you show what hard work and a dream can do. Was the cost was worth it in the end? Well it does sound like it to me. It looks more like spelter than bronze, the hare is pretty crude without a lot of detail. I would not think it is worth a lot of money, but it's nice enough for what it is. TC
