It really depend on what type of zoo or rescue centre you are talking about. I have no problems with places like safari parks, where animals get to actually live as near as they would in the wild as possible. I watched a program last week, about Orangutans and it is a possibility that within 20 years the only ones left on the planet will be captive bred ones, that is how fast the deforestation of Sumatra and Borneo is happening. Devils advocate here now. Would it be better for them to die out or live in artificial circumstances which actually caters for their every need? TC

If I did win big, and it would be a miracle if I did, (as I do not play the lottery) The first thing I would do is pay to get the best treatment to stop smoking. The second would be, pay for a private operation to get my legs working again. Once I could walk around and get out and about again I would be the happiest man on earth. The rest of the money the family could do with what they like. TC

Terry are you still using sets? As the onions in the last photo look as if they are grown from seed. Have a look at white tip caused by bad drainage, if you look at your mates bed he has it raised there-by giving him better drainage. TC

What really pisses me off about all the black and white colour malarkey is that black and white are not colours. TC

VDH no doubt decimates rabbits, but it is not as long lived as mixie. I forget the actual amount of time that it is viable on the land but it is under a year. So in theory you could repopulate a year later and the rabbits would not get the disease. With mixie the rabbit fleas could lie dormant in warrens for a number of years then when the first rabbits body heat wakes the flea's up, the cycle begins again. Edited to add: Just checked. The driving force behind all this bull, is the insurance companies, they want to take the risk out of every policy. The people who are to blame are the claim culture and the lawyers behind it, take the whiplash scam how many of us pay increased premiums just because people make spurious claims for whiplash? It then becomes self perpetuating, people want to get the extortionate premiums back so they claim for every little thing. TC

They were bums mate trust me .........as a pro fighter the very bare minimum you can do in a fight is be competetive........and they were not. If one of those lads were to of got seriously hurt the sport of boxing would be in trouble........and rightly so. I think I have got hold of the wrong end of the stick here? My definition of a bum must be different to the boxing definition, I agree they should not have been in the ring with the ex-champs and they have obviously done it for the money. Not a boxing fan as such, and even with a very limited knowledge of the sport, I can see that it was a mismatch for both the Shannon and Haye fights. I may well be wrong but I think I counted 1 punch being thrown by their opponents between the both fights. They were obviously in a league way above their ability. In my mind, they should not have been in the ring with two boxers that were ex world champions, that said I do not think that they should be classed as bum's either. 01269 822248 Happy hounds minced chicken carcass fresh or frozen. Roughly 50p a kilo the weight of the bags vary between 2.8 and 3 kilos £1.50 a bag, it's good stuff. They are based in G C Gerwyn but deliver all over the place. They also do tripe and ox heart. Give them a ring and ask when they are in your area. TC
