    Panic mentality. A bit of a fuel supply problem due to a shortage of drivers that was exacerbated by panic buying. Now unfortunately the lack of fuel for lorries may well just exacerbate the general lack of drivers so slow deliveries across the board which in turn will lead to shortages in other areas so leading to more panic buying etc etc. I was always against Brexit for the very reasons we are seeing but that's beyond the point now.     This time of year the young squirrels are being pushed out of their parents territories and looking for new ground so pop up everywhere, had one try to jump through our window last week, dogs were upset it was closed lol.

    For my 10 pennies worth its just math, as genetics is just math, especially with hybrids. Genetics is only predictable on the grand scale and the more variables you add the grander the scale needs to be to get a portion of predictability. I had a bull/grey X collie/grey was a thick coward with no pace and no stamina but hyperactive at home. He had 3 separate gene pools to throw a variety of traits, sometimes they will be the right ones sometimes not, in his case not.     I've found the Skinners Crunchy seems to hold condition on them when putting some harder runs in, little higher protein than some but when mixed with vegetable table scraps, bones and rabbit/game etc it keeps a shine on their coats and a little bounce in their step till the end of the season.
