They run hares with them, not sure how much they do but they do some.

You could go for your name sake, i know a breeder in Europe that has puppies that would export, closely related to English greyhounds but still a little more coursing orientated physically. COVID vaccine math – it seems to be confusing the anti-vaxxers WWW.SKEPTICALRAPTOR.COM I have been seeing the same old bad math from COVID-19 vaccine deniers that I've been seeing from anti-vaxxers...

Not over here. They use them in North Africa to cross with Saluki types and in South America crossed with greyhounds and collies/cur dogs.

Who said dog shelter hand them?

There's cruel feckers all over, I've seen a few pics but they are the same pics banded about same as with the anti racing lot over here. They do cull hard but that's a reality of getting the best and why many end up in pet homes rescues or knocked on the head etc as with greyhounds over here, don't believe all the propaganda. 6,000 greyhounds killed in Ireland each year WWW.IRISHCENTRAL.COM In Ireland greyhounds aren't even classified as dogs back to galgos, the chap i get mine from takes dogs down to the local rescue every year, he keeps

Don't blame the science for the political spin, the vaccine reduces risk of catching corvid dramatically but if you are unlucky enough to have to catch it post vaccine, not all respond to full potential to the immune challenge, it reduces symptoms and your likelihood of spreading covid. https://youtu.be/8nD6Q9X0SFw

Nice to get them chasing around on the beach, blows off a bit of steam https://youtube.com/shorts/DZ8Ye72vpOk?feature=share Any time of year.

They are sensitive but biddable and trainable, I find them easy to live with, I'd put them somewhere between a greyhound and a saluki temperament wise. They have high prey drive and will run themselves to a standstill and in the case of one of mine literally throw themselves off a cliff in pursuit. Coursing bred from some very good lines, no show blood. No many rough coats about these days which is a shame, other than show stuff, but there are still a few broken coated about and they are stunners, i would love to import one but the lines i prefer seem to throw smooths.

lovely job?

My old bitch liked to tackle a fox if she got the chance when we were knocking about but they aren’t something that I bother with in truth so don’t slip when out lamping, the 3 year old joined her and seems keen but never been on her own so I’d guess she’s willing but can’t swear to it. The pup has never had opportunity. I’d say if foxes were my thing I wouldn’t get a Galgo as there are better bred dogs for the job. Galgos are more edible specialist that have a good mix of speed and stamina, good feet and heat resistance and breed true to type so have very little litter wastage.

They like their sport out there and rightly proud of it?

To hot for much other than the beach at the moment, I took a walk at Greysands to give the dogs a bit of a gallop.

Cheers Lamper, yes they have a bit in the tank, smaller and more agile than a greyhound. Have the effortless style of the stayer but a fair pace. I've run against a pure saluki and the Galgo eased away noticeabley although the saluki wasn't in the shape it should have been, ain't gonna catch a grey over a 1/4 mile but will stay on and on. Good middle ground type, good feet and light enough to take a bit of work with decent speed, but enough in the tank to ensure the runs not over till its over.
-
Cheers Moocher, one bitch that I know of been imported but only a pup.

Carrying a little weight but that'll come off over the next couple of months, just coming out of her 1st season.

Good post, great start ? mind you'll have a few occasions when it goes ?shaped but patience and repetition win in the end. -

Ah yes it's rather like me of a long vintage but slightly younger than the fossil behind it ??

Very clean looking dogs that might benefit from a bit of exercise although they look the type to overheat very quickly, each to their own I suppose..

We're all different in many ways but one thing we all share, the love of the dogs and the need to keep on keeping on?.
