Excellent vid mate, urban ratting reminds me of ratting along the river in Sunderland. -
I actually know that place, never eaten there however, its in mandaluyong more famous for the mental health hospital or lunatic asylum as it used to be called, its part of manila.

There used to be a guy on moochers years back, people like TOMO will remember him I am sure, he was from Yorkshire somewhere, his name was WoodyApex?He was a chippie I think?Went to Indonesia,cant remember which part, but he hunted pigs with a tribe and their assorted mongrel pack, did a decent write up.

I took some pics a few weeks back in the PI,i am going to try and crop and resize them from the phones will bang them up later.I was channel-surfing last night, flicking through what was on the tv and there was cockfighting on here some Thai channel ADHD sport or something along those lines?

Done it with fish,dug a hole,raked the hot rocks out of the fire and dropped them in,the fire was coconut charcoal fuelled,put a layer of banana leaves,used foil for the fish but I know that was cheating,another layer of banana leaf then covered with sand and left for a couple of hours.

my kids mum passed away 2002,very hard for me,but there was no support group or anything,i wouldnt have went to one anyway,sink or swim time,i had a bit of boo-hoo but kids focus your mind,no time for self pity with them needing looking after.

A number of my mates were at spannabis a few weeks ago,you visit any of the legal clubs?I am working down in the south of spain this year,i know quite a few people who are involved in decent sized projects,a friend of mine in Canada has just got legal permission for a 10,000 sq foot grow.

I fished the med often when i had a boat,didnt really get much but down near javea one week we were in the middle of a huge school of migrating tuna,saw a pod of whales once,a few turtles,loads of sunfish etc.

where bouts you fish for alligator gar mack ? Thailand mate,i didn't fish today though,spent the morning in chonburi zip-lining through the forest canopy on a flight of the gibbon eco-tour.

I put pics on the fishing section years ago mush,freediving spearfishermen I watched on Gib,camo divesuits and really good spearguns,i saw quite a few of them the summer I lived on the rock,they were normally after octopus and mullet.

Short term I want to get an alligator gar,might manage it in the next few weeks,long term I want to catch a 100kg freshwater fish and land it from the bank.

Living in spain at the moment working on a little project,my mate who lives in bangkok phoned me and told me bungsamran lake was closing the end of march ,the lake was/is my favourite big fish venue,so i flew over,spent a couple of weeks in the philippines first on business and did the short hop to LOS,bungsamran is slowly being emptied of fish,relocated to the new bungsamran2 lake just outside the city,the new lake opens 2 weeks time i will still be in the area so hopefully will get to fish it. Fished BSR the day after I arrived here,biggest around 50kg the usual Siamese cats,great ffighter

Robson Greens on catchup ITV1+1 henhas just been dropped off on a deserted island off palawan in the bottom of the philippines,he has to survive for a week on his own (with a production crew),scenery is beautiful and better than watching C list ex-celebs.

I have just been out for a run,i thought of this thread because there ahead of me in the sky,almost static and soundless was a squadron of UFO's high in the sky,i could see 10 of them,not exactly in formation but strung out in a flight,i could see aircraft stacked up in the distance waiting to land at the nearby airport,these werent domestic,f**k me i expected to be beamed up,i wondered if they would take the dog as well,if it was just me taken for probing and breeding purposes she might run off and meet some form of accident,they really were unidentified flying objects as initially i didnt ha
