I have seen giraffe, zebra, and antelope in the philippines, marcos sequestered calauit island kicked the natives off and stocked the place with african wildlife so he didnt have to fly to the dark continent whenever he fancied shooting something exotic.
  3. Its wouldnt be the hunt climaz, the kill, its the whole event i would imagine, the hounds, the country, the collective experience.

I hope those Leopard scratches have healed. ?The physical scars have long since faded, but the mental scars are traumatic poor lad, imagine the phobia he now has whenever he sees a bramble bush......
  5. I wouldnt mind hunting for alligator in the southern swamps either, that looks really good fun.
  6. I really want to hunt mountain lion with dogs, and bowhunt bears, sadly as a non-resident i have to go with a guide service though the places i want to hunt have over the counter tags, the cost isnt overly prohibitive, but my priorities at the moment have tied up any excess income in educating 2 kids,as soon as they graduate i have to do both hunts.Anyone contemplating emigrating opportunity knocks softly at times,do it if it feels right.

  10. This guy looks in quite a state, been on Hounslow heath loads of times in the past when lamping fox pre-ban,one of the papers is describing the snake that bit him as a giant adder,i never saw one bigger than maybe 18 inches. http://www.standard.co.uk/news/london/father-left-fighting-for-life-after-being-bitten-by-adder-in-west-london-park-a3513566.html
  11. The majority of his kids are doctors,i cant see them needing the cash, but he is going to make a quid or two I think,i would have underwent that for 10's of millions of dollars
  12. My local council in surrey charge for recycling rights terry,a couple have two shipping containers in-situ and recycle everything, store it and auction if off,you see cages of old monitors and PC towers, bikes,TV's and the guy told me old dysons etc are good earners, they must make a quid because they have several houses.
  13. http://www.getsurrey.co.uk/news/surrey-news/fly-tipping-surrey-government-tells-12874232 Hopefully this goes someway to solving the problem locally.
  14. I seem to remember being told in la linea when the bullfighting was on that fought bull steaks were more tender,i don't know the varacity of that, myth maybe?i do know that pinoys beat dogs, they will tell you otherwise, but I have seen dog skins on rubbish tips, the bleeding red mess flesh-side showed they hadn't died of old age.
  15. Tiffany lakosky is an excellent bowhunter as is eva shockey.
  16. Still infantile in my head Vietnam is another big canine eating country, chinese new year there used to be truck-loads of dogs sent from Thailand, they were crammed in,35 degrees,95% humidity,no water, just jam-packed together, any died on the journey it didn't really matter,i think they tried to stop it,now its dog smugglers for the meat market.A couple of Filipino guys once told me a dog tasted best if it was beaten to death, very little concept of what constitutes cruelty in countries where life is cheap sadly.
  17. Money doesn't buy class just a decent motor, having to haggle for your cash after a deals been agreed sours the transaction and leaves a bad taste in the mouth, glad you got your cash in the end however.
  18. Watch the commercial at the end,and I used to think PIA was bad https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ghkzsG-GYAQ
  19. No reason to let them in,they arent fleeing persecution, they arent living under threat at any moment, they are in a perfectly safe country that accepts asylum seekers, they dont get to cherry pick where they want to live,if your fleeing for your life any safe port in a storm, they are economic migrants plain and simple looking for the good life but bringing none of the benefits of a legitimate migrant with skills that benefit the country with them,we are full to the brim with car washers and benefit claimants.
  20. When asked i always used to say dog tasted ruffffffff but cat is purrrrrrfect
  21. I spoke to a thai the other day who lives in the boonies and eats civet,he draws the line at eating monkeys though,or so he told me
  22. Dog Is still eaten today in the PI,back in the 80's skinned dogs heads and live dogs dogs were visible on market stalls in places like baguio, nowadays you don't see it at all but it doesn't mean dogs aren't eaten. Korea is similar to Taiwan, there dogs and cats are boiled alive as a medicine.
  23. You mean the previous tenants actually left them behind ?couldnt have been proper North East folk Waste not want not I guess
  24. Sounds good......flying to Siem Reap mate from Bangkok.,,,,,,,,then back to Krabi for a bit of beach.....
