I'd love to give it a go. Could get a few lads off here to recreate the gun fire for added reality ? don't think the hse would approve though, having to do a h & s training before been able to go in first because of real barbed wire ? honestly, have we brought up a generation of folk with no common sense now because of all the nannying?

We don't have trees so all the birds are ground nesting, ferrals are very different than domestics and they desemate the birds here during nesting season.

Get loads of ferrals here, the do gooders were trapping them a while ago neutering and putting them back. Shot a few that were hassling Warren's I was doing, until I saw posters round the village looking for poor timmy who I'd shot a week or so previously ?

Lucky bugger get around 20-22 mpg out of mine. Had a td5 before this and that was really old was a 1999 I think, but that didn't leak, just general maintenance. Had a series one as a young un don't remember having major problems with that, thank got for power steering ? had a 130 aswell, used to have to get out and twist the hubs for off road. They've come a long way now, gutted they've stopped making them. I wouldn't have one if I didn't have an off road use for em though I've got a dacia for road use ?

Always fascinates me what folk have in their sheds. Need to get mine sorted so I can get the tractor back in, I just make more mess every time I try tidy it ?. Done a good job there ?

Only thing I'll be doing is getting a new roof rack window grills and bumper/winch, living this close to the Atlantic they don't last

Never had a problem with ours, no leaks, nothing! It's four years old now too. Im 6'2" 17 stone an fits me just fine. Would have just bought another new one when it got to 3 years old but ya can't any more. Hate paying for pointless mots

Good machines, just check for rot etc. Ours is a seven seater, wish I hadn't now as its not like you can remove the two back fold down ones without a lot of hassle, so take up alot of room even folded. Old td5 was a 12 seater, they can't make em like that any more. We live right on the sea and a lot of off road so get it waxoiled every two years, costs around £100 but worth it to stop the rot. Let me know how you get on ?

He had a stroke and was released a few years ago into a care home, remember reading it somewhere, don't know if he's still alive must be well into his 70s now.

Always check power steering fluid on series twos ? ?

Never had a problem with it, had a td5 before 2.5 and the power is much the same. Economy is much the same too 20-22 mpg. Bought it new and done 28,000 miles, they hold thier price well too, in fact mines gone up in price over the last year, will never get the £35,000 I paid new though. Good toy for out the Moor though too.
