  1. Quad 400 compound, bleeding awsome bit of kit. will get some pics next fews days wehn I have a mo spare, been dead mad busy here. I'm hoping my wife never sells my gear for what I told her I paid for it ? ?
  2. You know I'm into bows, so heres my set up. 36lbs limbs fitted and the pure carbon limbs at the bottom are 50lbs for the 75 yard mark. Its obviously not as good as yours? Broadheads I like the sabre fixed blade for a recurve bow, the mechanical I use on my compound and cross bow.
  3. I've only seen .22lr reloading kits in the states, I think they brought them out because of the shortage years ago, the practicalities of reloading a small round and getting any sort of consistency I think is pretty slim. My RFD was on about he tried years ago, and didn't have much success, getting the liquid primer for the rim is like hens teeth, and spinning enough in is laughable by hand. Stick to CF for reloading, there's a reason the primers come preprimed and pop in and out easy (with the correct tools).
  4. Aye Hector, he used to get his rabbits for his lurchers up at europie. Small world, even here ?
  5. Aye just before the butt of lewis, it's a massive beach down there.
  6. That's port of ness, europie is other side of ness where playpark is. Galson is between melbost and dell, the estate is galson estate and covers 56,000 acres ness to Barvas.
  7. We ways wanted that house overlooking Port Beach, its a cracker, see the mainland from there
  8. R lasses coil must have shifted too, every time I plug it in now her eyes light up ?
  9. I was doing galson to europie and taking upto 100 a week until around two weeks ago, they were a massive problem and a good earner for me at 50p a tail. I won't be going out for rabbit any more until I see if there's a good recovery.
  10. Aye only time will tell what devastation it wreaks in the long term!
  11. We were over run by rabbits here untill this arrived, honestly to see the population go from plague proportions to nearly extinct in weeks is unbelievable. Never thought I'd see it here!
  12. Youd only need a plug for the lamp mate?
  13. Plenty for a grand pie there pal ?
  14. That's its "just try it if ya think I'm sweet" face. Seen the ones at the Highland wildlife park near Kingussie, they have a few and doing stuff to conserve them in big cages?
  15. Very nice, trying to figure where ya shot him though? Upper neck shot? Some good eating there anyway, I can't even get out till new lease drawn up for change in our syndicate, hate waiting, but we gained more land.
  16. That's the trouble they're always changing the goal posts then no one knows where they are, they banned 2 stroke out boards a while ago because of pollution, trouble is then the 4 stroke are heavier use more juice and oil = creates more pollution. The folk in offices making these rules up should be wearing clown outfits honestly. I'm putting in for a pallet of kitty litter before they ban that too ?
  17. Aye never been the same since, must have been the acid man.
  18. I did used to do a bit of electricery pokery for chemical companies in my younger days ?
  19. If you get into it normaly through the base, there is a pc mounted you'll need to take that out and join the wires in and out together, be careful to well insulate it and make sure nothings touching the chassis. PM me a pic and I'll try explain better once I've seen it if that helps ?
  20. There's always ways and means pal, plenty of overhead lines here and lamp posts ?
  21. You'd have to bypass the pcb, be easier to get a new cheap direct switch lamp for a fiver to be honest pal.
  22. If its plant from 1975 it should be tax exempt so should be able to run on red, I suspect the powers that be will try an overcome it, but I'd check it out! I've never owned pleasure craft, the last trawler I was on we were doing 5000 gallons every three days, if we had to put white in we wouldn't have been able to afford to go out ? There's some easy ways to filter the dye out anyway, I can do 1000 litres a month without the tax man investigating ? my tractor certainly runs a lot of hours sat in the byre though ?
  23. Never heard that, my tractor just always been run on red, all the trawlers I worked on with 1000 gallon+ tanks only ever run red heating and trawling. Tractors on red allowed so many miles on the highways, but how can they police that? A generator is used to generate electricity and static even on a trailer so perfectly legal to run on red. The heating on trawlers is tapped straight from the main tank anyway. Plant that is tax exempt is also allowed on a public highway using red. White to move a boat along, I've not seen any amount of flood water where you'd get a trawler on a highway ? ? ?
  24. Yes and run it on red too why not!
