There the new cash cow a load of bitches bred every year, pups sold for top dollar or to the highest bidder Surely if someone wanted to breed for money they would be breeding the cocker X poodles and Pug X beagles which are all fetching anything upwards of £600/£700 and have decent sized litters. Why would they be breeding plummers which fetch half that and only generally have 3-4 pups? .I don't know why he bothered with them to be honest Money ?? Why did i say a fecking thing ,came down this morning to find 5 dead birds in my aviaries,2 pulled through the wire and my once in a lifetime home bred clear greenfinch mule lying dead on the floor with a big clump taken out of her ... Have to say my luck with my birds this year has taken the thrill out of keeping them as a man can only take so much and a long and hard think about giving up is happening in my head today...

Had it done to mine and had then just spook the birds so much they die,i won't be admiting to harming one but they don't don't come back once i've spoken to them about it.Over the years i've sussed most attacks come after or during a few day rainy period mostly and haven't had an attack for a while but then now i've just spoken the fecker up ..

I caught a goldfinch youngster that escaped from my aviary like that a few years back,it was still being fed through the wire by it's parents bt had no water so i used a bowl of water for bait and had it recaught within 15 mins of setting up on top of the aviary ..

Correct..! Wrong.. The law only says for vermin control and it's only a permission slip from land owner OR land rep,,,which can mean anyone in charge of ANY BIT OF LAND nclueding your own garden as it don't say how big or small said land has to be .So all you really need is a permission letter saying the pup will be used in vermin control on private land and it's down to the vet what they want to see paperwork wise,the law or act is posted on the top of the page so worth a read on what is written in it Wrong? oh ok maybe I worded it wrong... but in my world vermin is a predator
