That's sort of what i do as feck working my life away as it goes to quick to spend it earning just money,i go without some of the grander things in life but the time spent doing what i want to do without worry is fecking priceless.I earn until i have enough to see me through a few months then take time off and live my life,the family don't go without and the kids have all they want and when i'm bored of them all i go back to work..?

To be honest mate the seasons nearly done and any pairs you may get offered won't have done much this year or else they'd be either with young or on eggs still,way better waiting till the moults done and come early autumn your'll have this years unspoilt young to choose from.

I'll probebly get up to Newark for a nose about rather than to buy as such but at the moment my aviary is empty mate,as you know i lost a good few to a rat attack and i just thought now's the chance to pull it down and get a decent concrete base down and rebuild the whole thing and start afresh as it were.I'm aiming to just to keep a couple of pairs of somethings in a mixed flight and have a quiet back to basics time for a while.Again well done on your birds and they got to be happy to produce like that and keep up the grand work mate and deffo keep the pics coming ?..

So much wild food about that most will be feeding else where but keep it there and in time they will start to drift in if you have the feeders in the right place as put them in the wrong place and feck all will come in.Out in the open so they can't be ambushed by cats or spars and one of the best thing around to attract birds into a garden is a big clean water bath as this time of year they need to drink and bathe..

The swallows were probebly born in your barn,their desendants have been using it for years and years and you go and shut the door on them,ffs man at least put some swallow nesting boxes up as you've just shut down a breeding site for your local swallows..

Sorry for the delay in replying but yes a very very good show with many types of birds from Ravens to canaries,a outstanding pair of marsh tits and a blue throat that was just a wonderful thing indeed..I'll be a bit more on the ball for putting up a few more shows next winter as that's when the bird shows happen as there all breeding in the summer...

The ground on which Buck ran on with me is a wet bit of ground that has seen a few struggle in,but Buck coped very well for a lump and i myself do think a bit more runner in him as such would produce a lurcher most lads would be happy to run.And like i say you'd know what you'd be getting with a greyhound bitch rather than a lurcher as anything could crop up in a breeding of various breeds..

Having held Bucks lead one night i'd say a grew is deffo the way to go,Buck has plenty of size,speed and guts as well as brains and ok it was one night but he did all that was needed and did it well.Breeding him to a grew would throw what you'd think would be thrown and choose a distance running grew the pups would have a chance to be able to handle most things that can get a shift on..

Hark at you lot suggesting even more pressure put on our restricted enough already work with terriers...Ffs a few bad apples and you lot want us all having to tell the powers to be what,when and where we'll all be with our terriers and other dogs as if you think it would stay at just terriers rather than all dogs used for hunting then think again....

When the aggressive dog is far to big for earthwork and just tries the whole time to reach other animals to grab hold of them i'd like to see someone work round it rob284...

The dog got what it needed mate but i took no pleasure in it in any way,he grew to a 30 lb 16 inch terrier with the same attitude as a working bulldog.Work was not all it needed as ain't as green as you think i am FD and that dog was just the same as having a bull dog in working order and that ain't my thing to have around me,he was far to big for anyone who takes care in what they do with quarry and if anyone thinks it was to much a "black dog" for me they why ain't you all got big drawing terriers in your kennels who can only be around a 75lb lurcher as she can sure as shite look after herse

This is what the copper bred black pup i had from Taz looked like,he turned into a very dog aggressive thing and i put him to sleep myself in the end as he was just born unballanced.
