  2. Loosing dogs, motors, getting your house spun and all kids comps, camera's etc getting took, animal bans, driving bans and anti's getting on your cases as well.A lot to loose for going quietly Bird these days and i can see why lads don't .....
  3. And there's your answer to why most gorgies think your all thieving little shits..
  4. I just live in Norfolk mate ,if i was from these parts i'd keep my gob well out of any wind up of any one ...But didn't you know the Original Norfolk tumblers are from Cambridgeshire and our bigger balls go with our bigger cocks and that is no wind up ...
  5. Some b*ll*cks on the radio the other day saying up north your hot taps are on the right hand side of the sink where as down south as such there on the left, just going on about it being another north south divide and how you lot are wrong ...
  6. You heard about your northerners having your hot taps on the wrong side?,we have them on the correct side.I didn't say "the right side "as it would have only confused you ...
  7. I had a first cross that i had to pts at 11 months old and she retrieved more than one fair law day time hare and tracked a bloody good few cwd on marshy land to have ever called her slow in anyway she'd also retrieve rabbits live to hand.
  8. I'd say so as well chrisbullx and i won't say who as it's not my place to say who has what and he can speak for himself if he wishes , but a regular member on here has a full brother of her,not sure litter brother but a full brother all the same..
  9. Mr Lloyd may be able to say better than myself, but i'm not sure if you'd loose to much acd in a 3/4 bred. The ACD is a lot of dog in a small package but one i could see being easily diluted as such... Adampie where did your pal get his from and was it middlesbrough way'ish ..
  10. Had one myself and know a few lads with first cross ACD's and there "good old dogs" for sure...
  11. You read posts most days on here from a man with a ACD first x dog ,,
  12. If it's not in the right place and it lets the wind blow through it it won't ever hold on a poor weather day,but dragging a dead fox through will line the walls with fox scent and maybe encourage another fox into it..
  13. At least you got the biggest choice of empty seats in the footy league to choose from Max...
  14. Just a list of numbers to me bud sorry. I just use what my eyes have shown me and like i say most finch/seed eating type birds just eat the insides and leave the shell and when they have been oven dried your left with just a shell, hence why there a waste of money in my eyes then...
  15. If you ever feed any finch type birds with meal worms they will squash the insides out of them the leave the worthless husk, like i said no nutritional value in them no matter how much soaking you do.Your dogs will wolf down tinned food, your kids will eat maccy d's would they not?, but it don't mean it's right or good for them....
  16. Very true and cheaper to buy them by the kilo, but the maggot trick i said about will kill off any salmonella in the maggots and they don't try to crawl off either ..
  17. Liverpool footy fans must be so proud eh..
  18. Just don't anyone waste their money on dried mealworms,no nutritional value in them and your better off buying maggots from the fishing shop, keep them for a few days in bran till the black spot goes, pour boiling water over them, then quench them in cold water then freeze them until needed as such. You can buy them as frozen pinkies from some bird food suppliers but make sure there maggots and not baby mice when buying frozen pinkies, good for captive birds as well..
  19. Did you put a coloured split ring(like a plastic chicken one) on it so you can recognise it again?,but again fare play FD and i hope you do have a bit of a long term relationship (you get what ii mean) with it out in the wild......
  20. But the first question you have to ask is,is the habitat right for wild bird rearing?..If not don't even bother trying as they will just go to where it is,if it is then pest control is your biggest job and that is 24/7 365 days a year with no let off on the vermin, but habitat habitat habitat is prime number one objective first...
