Had a cracking day last tuesday on that river down by where it meets the sea at the tip of the island,trolling rapala lures just as the tide started ebbing..Stopped on the way back up to orford quey and tied to a marker bouy and tried a bit of bait fishing but just had a seal around us which kept coming up with flat fish in it's mouth..?..

Iv'e swam in the quarry at Long Itchington loads of times in the past when i lived that way,it's a risky game swimming in wild waters as such but i for one learnt to swim in a river and i'll have a bet most of us older members all learnt to swim in wild waters as well.

Iv'e never paid for any PPV of anything,all i do is google watch what ever for free and sift through the links until i find one without lag,there's always loads of links but some won't come up until the fight,match what ever is underway...PPV when you have internet is money for wasting mate..

Farm i help on has a couple of calves this year half x's wagyu x limoseines (spelling?),little black things they were and a bit smaller than the pure limo calves.Maybe there to small pure to bother with weight wise hence the cross breeding??.

I got a 1947 cook book that has sea gulls in it,but you got to purg them for 2 weeks with just buttermilk before eating them.Some things just ain't ment ot be eaten bud..?

Had a good wood burner that kept in over night so just as warm as any home really and stoke the fire up and i could have the tarp pulled back and have a open end/lot out into the world and be cosy warm inside..The worse weather is constant rain as it puts the outside fire out and just makes everything hard work,the cold is easy,put on a coat or put a log on the fire..

I haven't and it was a home made open lot,a bow top but with canvas as a door rather than wooden ends with a wooded door as such,as for worms in flour don't believe everything your told and i also has fire irons but not a tripod as there to heavy to lug about all the time...

It wasn't easy at times and there are so much easier ways to live,but by feck i miss the simplicity of it for sure..

I will say food does taste better cooked over a open fire and every meal i ate for a couple of years when i had a bow top wagon i cooked on a open fire but i just can't cope with the taste of smoked stuff ?,good one though and i have said to my misses i'm going to build a fire pit in the garden as it is a hard one to beat sitting around a little open fire..

Just trying to be helpful mate,but put a spit to the side of a fire and not over the top of it then the fat won't drip into the fire and make it stink,also try not to have to add unburnt wood to a cooking fire as that's what blackens things and also makes it taste smokey..?

There isn't a fella on here that has a faultless dog,some might be real deal machines but they ain't perfect and all we all do is try our best with what we got,if you have good sport with your dog then that is all that matters and feel for you bud i really do and well done for stepping up for the dogs sake when the time came as it is heart breaking at times..

Don't matter what you watch if you don't buy one anyway,they have no right to try to get in and prove you have been using it and there ain't no law saying you can't have a tv.If they come to the door tell them they have to leave and tell their bosses no one from or representing the BBC is allowed to enter onto your land again and there not allowed to even walk up your path to knock the door..Fcuk the BBC and the nonces and twats like packham they use your money to pay their wages with..

100% of convictions for not having a tv licence are because the people confessed to not having one,detector vans don't and have never been able to detect if your watching a tv and no one has the right to try to enter your house to see if you are using a tv to watch normal tv as such.If anyone knocks on your door to ask about a tv licence you have every right to tell them to feck off.You tube it loads of vids of folks telling them to do one and all legal...?

I fish on river loads but we set off from Orford quay and go down towards the island,last week me,the misses and youngest lad headed up stream as such and motored up to those boats.A few bass in that river as well and have had a few out of it this summer on lures,all went back as the law says we have to do this year...?
