    Does any Canon lense fit onto any Canon body? Im also after a good camera for general terrierwork photos. Every one that I've had has stopped working due to sand and grit getting into the 'zoom' mechanism. Any help appreciated.

    Are we talking in rock piles/bales or in actual earths? Ive seen dogs that are great in bales/ drains/ rocks that are shite in earths.

    We never know what's going on underground. As long as you're getting the result and the dog isn't giving up then thats all you can ask for. I've seen a bitch, that was ruthless on a fox, bolt them from single hole earths on numerous occasions, some would say 'oh the dog's shite, it lets them past', but I reckon a more truthful account is that she went in all guns blazing and the fox managed to get by while they were rolling about and was away.

    My advice is dont buy a car off them dodgy fuckers. Theyll reel off any excuse to sell you the car. When theres no log book alarm bells should be ringing. I've had my fingers burnt by them before, never again.

    I agree that more always seem to appear but I'm a great believer in letting stuff go. If I never killed another fox in my life I wouldn't care, it's not about that for me.

    I was out for a day a few seasons back with a mate off here. On the way to this particular earth, on a steep bank nexto the river, he said the hounds had missed a fox the week before from it as it bolted and swam the river making a clean getaway. Anyway the dogs marked so he entered his little Border bitch and a while later a fox hit the net, it pulled the peg out and rolled in the net down the bank towards the river, my mate chased it down and it jumped into the river still in the net, but luckily the fleet footed terrierman behind it managed to get a foot on the peg and hauled the charlie b
