Either shite shovels or you're not using them right. If you put too much pressure on any shovel it's going to snap.

Yeah they are. The local council blacksmith did them for me. He's getting made redundant soon though so hopefully they last a while longer!

Bit conspicuous that mate! We use the 2 piece shovels in the bag when we're sneaking about on places we shouldn't be. And if we're on permission we carry the gear or park close enough to the earths that hardly any shovel carrying is required.lol

That's a result mate! I've had a similar dealing with them before but with a collar and they sent me a brand new one also. Can't fault their aftercare.

He's probably 14-15". Just an average size terrier.

Thanks for the reply mate. I might treat myself to one. The local river to me is the Tees and I know there is definitely plenty of Otters further south on the Swale if you are willing to travel a bit in your quest. Good luck.
