  1. a mate has a first cross whippet x greyhound that used to be good on rabbits, nailed vulps and took the odd deer before the ban...
  2. Contact Lone Wolf off here.....i think he has it for sale. i think i paid about £25 for mine from coch-y-bonddu last year, its worth being in the collection but i dont rate it that highly...
  3. does anyone use bulldogs with fibreglass shafts?..how do you rate them?...
  4. it's only just began to be cold enough for foxes to ground and with all the cover quickly dying down it shouldn't be long before they're regularly being found to ground...

  6. a size 9 boot to get thim in the hole! I think they are out of the rail way lines crossed with the traffic lines, they then went on to produce no lines Tally Ho FROM THE CONFUSED LINES!

  9. yeah like simoman says, they are few and far between. ive only seen one that really was any good from a hunt down south, the lads in that other dvd were digging round our way but were from sunderland.
  10. good pic there mackem, and lurcher chavvy i took a few roe pre -ban aswell, but i was just wondering whether theyre like roe where basically once the deer is pulled its game over??

  12. Is there anyone who took red deer with a lurcher/lurchers before the ban, never seen one personally but know that they are obviously massive. Do they compare to others like fallow or roe??? look forward to replies
  13. thats all i was giving, constructive criticism, the book is top class but i was just pointing out a couple of things i would have like to have seen look forward to the next few publications mate
  14. the deepest successful outcome i've had was about 12 foot last year, the deepest unsuccessful outcome was about 18 foot 3 weeks ago.

  16. What type or line of terrier do people prefer from what they've had or seen when digging???
  17. Ideal cross for me is Saluki/Greyhound,if you get the right one, they (before the ban) would take hare, rabbit and deer (day or night) and if you get one thats not afraid of a bite they splatter fox...well from what i've heard anyway... ...

  19. Got this book last week and it went straight to being one of the best terrier books ive read, along with 'world of the working terrier' and 'dig deep, throw well back'. However i thought it lacked a few things such as a variety of different dogs and also i like to know the breeding of dogs etc. the book seemed to be basically based on Womble and Panda whereas in 'Dig Deep..' the was loads of dogs featured with how they were bred etc. Otherwise its a quality book especially with colour pics and an improvement on the writing side, i look forward to future publications JD What does e
