My father used to enjoy smoked haddock poached in milk with butter on top I carry this on. My kids never took to pies and pasties but they had a Cornish pastie and chips the other night , I felt proud lol, not really but it's nice to see them enjoy what we did I guess , my father didn't cook as such but in the foundry he'd cook me pies on the furnace with a tin bucket and call it a Dutch oven , good times good pies... probably a bit of smelting poison in the mix to boot hahah

If I could recommend one dish it would be a seafood linguine or spaghetti with supermarket mixed seafood, some cheap plonk , cream and butter Google a rough idea and it's as good as a decent restaurant. Some crusty buttered bread to mop up.

I used to stop around my aunt's place , she had flea ridden cats, anyway one night I had a nightmare about fleas, a dog sized one got a bite in and I awoke halfway after launching myself from the bed and destroyed a wardrobe .... couldn't hack bed bugs , mosquitoes are my nemesis though and when abroad would wake family to have a bug killing session, tea towels at the ready.....

I imagine the Israelis will will flatten Gaza, hostages that survive will probably be killed by missiles or Palestinian mob. American ships in the gulf to keep Iran and Egypt at bay. Netanyahu may use this as reason to rid Gaza of Palestinians, tbh unfortunately there is no peaceful solution to two opposing religious states .

If he's not been out and about with all kinds of stock yet then treats ain't doing much. You don't say age or breed but I'd be inclined to take him with steady dogs around stock see how he behaves. If he's got no recall then I'm guessing he's not stock trained. If your daughter doesn't work him then he's probably bored? I think e collars are effective but you need a plan and is it for breaking to stock or enforcing recall etc. You could use it on vibrate to start training recall at distance with no distractions. Tesco in Prague had tanks full of fish from salmon to carp....it's definitely popular in Europe , I've not eaten it , but why not. I'd rather a whiter fish myself. Pike supposed to be good when they're bigger , west Indians used to smoke them in the foundry back in the seventies. I'd take mackerel all day...

Got some shanks on smoker since 1pm be ready about six. With red cabbage, boiled spuds and carrots, hopefully a gravy from smoker if it doesn't burn......
