Yep not good , my father fished the Kennet before I was born I think , and a bull came over so he made his way up a tree while the bull got stuck into knocking bait boxes over , the branch snapped and in he went, but a young fit fella is a different thing. My mother ended up in a river in winter in France in her seventies , luckily got out but it's luck. We can all be guilty of being a bit blasè around water at times but rivers , seas reservoirs pose the biggest risk. One of the reasons my kids can chose what sport they like outside of swimming which is compulsory. A funny one , lad I knew got

On a few places I've seen the rogue pheasant that chases people surring them etc, never got why keepers have them about, amusement maybe , personally I'd just knock them on the head. -
Yep I have to be more aware these days the levels have a slippery step down to where you want to fish a lot of the time and sometimes a foot of bank before you'd be upto your neck in it. Lol, always aware if I can't work I'm knackered. Canal is easy on that front rivers are a different beast..

Anyway ,I agree I think a couple of front Benchers maybe and some worldly folk but I don't want to see a ridiculous amount of Tories. I worked with a fella , they put a tracker in his van , said why you in the white horse pub, he said cause I'm having a beer , on multiple occasions lol I think they stopped bothering. Some of the lads onsite have to sign in and out on hone gives locations etc , feck that. I guess if I had no choice maybe but I hate big brother..stinks of communism

Yeah I sorted issue it was faster in reverse so swapped motor wires about and reversed the controller with two switches was easier than expected as was reading about all sorts with gearbox resetting esc etc. I had a tamiya astute back in probably 87/88

Well bearings turned up took me two days to build them, second one much quicker build time. Been out in the rain so boys could try them and now one is substantially quicker than the other so the joys of giving...

Bit milder , still some ice about on canal , rain and wind so I went to a spot that is usually too busy for my liking , fished a white spikey on the way out for a small jack and a perch , water was quite clear so swapped to a more natural dark perch, and took another jack with that...

My butcher mate uses a retractable spike job on steaks, I've never done anything with them tbh , the missus has a mallet for making escalopes.

UK ships and aircraft apparently. Russia are saying it was legally russian as they registered it whilst on the run, apparently you can't change a ships flag during a voyage.
