    About fecking time we got our fingers out and invaded the remaining 22 IMO! Out of interest with that statistic, do you know how many of those 172 countries existed as sovereign nations before we went there? I'm betting a decent number of them didn't even exist until after we left/were forcibly evicted/asked to leave! When we owned India, it was one big country, we partitioned it just before we left, into India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.     Technicaly; a "Longdog" is a pure sighthound or a cross between sighthounds; i.e. a Whippet/Saluki/Greyhound would be a "Longdog". A "Lurcher" is usualy a sighthound crossed with anything else. I have one of each, but find it simpler to refer to them both as "Lurchers" ! Cheers.

    There's one or two on here use saluki's and falcons for hare. Paul Sagar, (sadly deceased), used to do it; and I think Cocker has some experience of it. Surely it's all about training the dog, whatever cross, to work WITH the falcon ?? Cheers.

    A little tip that most will allready know; turn your telly. dvd. digi box, pc, etc, OFF at the wall, don't leave them on stand-by !! You'll be pleasantly supprised how much it saves. Even turning the telly and computer off when you nip to the shops will save you money ! Cheers.
