As has been said, fresh coriander is readily available. From super markets like Aldi and Asda growing in small pots, for about 70p. Any paki shop has fresh bunches of coriander. Its very easy grown from seed in a pot of compost. I always use fresh, never dried, in curries. Cheers.

Just a little tale that may be relevant; Many years ago, an English doctor friend of mine was driving along a remote road in Saudi Arabia and he came upon a dead Arabian Leopard at the side of the road, an extremely rare and endangered feline. He told me three things went through his mind; 1; report it to the authorities as the law required and go through all the hassle, and possibly be accused of killing it. 2; throw it in the back of his car, take it back to his surgery, skin it and send the hide to a taxidermist. 3; drive past without stopping, and tell only close f

Is Trump perfect ? Far from it, but I like him because he isn't a career politician, he owes his position to people who were sick of the status quo, and voted for him, not the political establishment. Theres only him and Farage, in my opinion, who say it as they see it, rightly or wrongly. People are a lot more politically savvy these days, and many have seen through the career politicians who put their careers and snouts in the trough above doing or saying the right thing. I thought Boris was of that ilk, but now I'm not sure. If he delivers a REAL Brexit, I'll be convinced.

Of course it works both ways to a degree, but I didn't see the Republicans go after Bill Clinton or Obama with the same intensity as the Democrats went after Bush and Trump. As far as Brexit is concerned, I feel sure if Remain had won, we wouldn't have had the court cases, the appeals, etc, I think most leavers would have just accepted it. Its only my opinion of course, but I think the left only like and respect democracy when the vote goes their way. But I'm a right winger, so I would say that, wouldn't I ? LOL ! Cheers.

How can you run a country successfully when there is such hatred and polarisation? Nancy Pelosi hates Trump, she's second in line for the presidency, after Mike Pence, if anything happens to Trump ! Shes already tried indicting him; that failed. Now she's trying to invoke Article 25 of the constitution to have him declared unfit for office . Whatever you think of Trump, he won the election, but Pelosi, Hilary Clinton and others will never accept democracy.....very odd for a party called The Democrats ! Not quite so bad here, but we have the swivel eyed lunatics who wil

Wearing gloves reminded me of a tale my brother told me. He's a Health & Safety Manager for the local Council. They needed a top class carpet fitter for a one off job in the new Council Offices. He had just the bloke, a recently retired old mate who was great at the job, I know, he did my house ! Anyway, my brother set him away on the job and said he'd call by later to see how he was getting on. When my brother returned, he almost had a fit ! " Where's your PPE ? Your Hi-Viz vest, your hard hat, your safety glasses, you can't use a a Stanley knife without Kevlar gl

It's not about going to the papers; if a big cat was flushed by any of the hunts i follow, the news would spread like wildfire ! If I had seen one flushed in the many years and many hunts I've followed, I'd be on here in a flash, defending you to the hilt ! But I've never seen one, that's not to say others haven't, or they aren't out there, I'm just skeptical until convinced otherwise. Cheers.

I'm a skeptic, but to be honest, I wish I wasn't ! Im skeptical for a number of reasons, The lack of "hard" evidence; no decent pic or videos, just , usually, grainy or out of focus, or what are obviously other animals, cats or dogs. Im a countryman, I've hunted all over the UK, day and night, have many friends who do the same, and none of us have ever seen a "big cat". As for some hunts seeing them but forcing the members and followers to silence, well, I've never heard such nonsense ! I've followed lots of hunts and if someone told me to be silent I'd tell them to go f**

It's hard mate, but you have to do the right thing, knowing the exact time is very difficult. Ive had to put down three dogs since I came home; A Doberman that I owned in Saudi, and brought home with me. A Manchester Terrier that my daughter owned; born in the Ukraine, she got him given in Dubai, took him to Australia, brought him to the UK and I ended up with him. And a lurcher that was my constant companion for 15 years. All had a story to tell. Cheers.

You're right, Cameron was the "New Blair". They saw that to win a general election, they had to win the middle ground. Blair wasn't left wing and Cameron wasn't right wing.....they were both centrist! Then another centrist, May, became leader of the Torys and Prime minister, remember when, as Home Secretary, she said "we have to get rid of this nasty party image " ! So, going by those three, Boris is without doubt "Right Wing", but he's hardly another Thatcher ! Cheers.

Yeah, it's a shame when they get old and the spirit is strong but the body is weak ! I had old Delta put down a couple of months back, she was 15. The deer x , Lima, is over 11 now, retired her at 10, but she's still out every day with me, and like you Andy, I've an old house cur, Kilo the chihuahua, 12 years old, tags along everywhere. Need a couple of new dogs, just a case of trying to find the right ones ! Cheers.

I guess you're a dogman when; The only designer clothes you own were designed for soldiers in the '50s, When you use more electricity for puppies heat lamps and charging your batteries than you do for heating your house or cooking. When what used to be a back garden for your kids and grandkids to play in now has every inch taken up by kennels and runs, When your wife goes on holiday by herself because you've told her you can't leave the dogs, When your wife tells you "no, I'm not having rabbit/hare/pheasant for my dinner, I'm off to the pub for a steak". When the

I don't think we have a true right wing in British politics. We have far left, left, centre left, centre right and right, but no far right. This could be because we fought a devasting world war against far right dictators like Hitler and Mussolini. I think the vast majority of people in the U.K. are conservative with a small "c" We have respect for our police and armed forces, view immigration with distrust, and dislike authoritarian, unelected apparatchiks. But we are the silent majority, as long as things are bumbling along nicely we don't much care. The left an

I've no love for Boris, but I think he's the best of a very bad bunch. At least he didn't roll over to the EU ! If May had got her way, we would have "BRINO", Brexit in name only, we would have been a vassal state, obeying all their rules, but with no say in the making of them ! The traitor Corbyn would sell us out to any country, never mind the EU ! He had over 30 years of voting against the EU, but changed his stance 180 degrees just to suit his tribal allegiances, f**k the rest of us ! And the LibDems ? They are the shit weasels who not only wanted us to stay in the EU,

We've had plenty opportunities to break the Lib/Lab/Con monopoly ! We could have voted UKIP or Brexit Party when Farage was in charge and seen if he was really any different to the rest of them, but we didn't........ Cheers.

I've just watched Kate Garraway defending the arsehole who said he "jumped for joy" when he heard that Trump had Covid, even though her own husband has been in intensive care with Covid for months ! The lefts hatred of Trump outweighs everything else........ Cheers.

We were not allowed to even TALK to other countries about trade deals while we were in the EU. We have now done trade deals, very quickly as far as trade deals go, with the likes of Japan and other countries. A trade deal with America will be done after December, when we have finally, completely left the EU, either with adeal with them or no-deal. Cheers.

We lurcher lads can be a hypocritical, judgmental lot, can't we ? LOL ! Ive allways had dogs for sport and enjoyment, with the added bonus of putting some very nice food in the freezer. Ive never had any time for badgers; you can't eat them, they can't run very fast, they tear up your dogs and lead to big vet bills, and in the case of these lads, result in some very serious, and, in my mind, over the top punishment. BUT, what others do for THEIR sport, is THEIR business, not mine ! As for "bringing our sport into disrepute ", give me a break, I've been in the sport well ove

We had something in common other than dogs. We both spent a huge part of our lives as expats, seen the world from a different perspective. Cheers.

It's nothing to do with common sense ! Some people were seduced by Corbyn offering free internet and a free skinny latte at Starbucks, but, thankfully, the grown ups saw through his nonsense. Cheers.

Reminds me of when the then Home Secretary informed Churchill that a Guards Officer had been arrested on Clapham Common giving some bloke a blow job in freezing temperatures; "Freezing temperatures ? " Said Churchill; "Makes you proud to be British " ! Cheers.

He offered to put his dogs in front of me, it was my fault I never made it. I understand Tigger was a very good roe dog. Cheers.

I remember going up to Neilston Working Terrier Show with the intention of having a bit craic with Foxgun Tom, Gash and the lads, but I was roped into judging the lurcher show when the judge let them down at the last minute. I'd never met Mik or seen his dogs, but I had no hesitation in giving Tigger Best In Show. Of course this meant nothing in working ability, but he invited me up to his permission to see his dog run, and run mine. Sadly I never made it. Cheers.

Was Tigger Miks dog ? Cheers.

Any meat or veg can be "curried", and, of course, curries vary greatly through out the world. A "Chinese" curry here in the U.K. bares no resemblance to a curry in China ! Same as an "Indian " curry; India is such a divers place it has many, many curries. I remember a great Indian chef in the Middle East who made fantastic curries, but when veg curry was on the menu, I loved his potato and cauliflower curry, but his spinach curry would make me wretch ! Some of the great curries have a lot of "heat", others have none. We must remember that "currying" meat or fish was
