    My missus recently had a hip replacement at a Nuffield hospital. Now, I'm a great supporter and admirer of the NHS, but the Nuffield is is a different experience! Private room, two dedicated nurses on 24 hour attendance, meal menu like a top restaurant., kept informed at all times, great follow up by the surgeon, physios etc. I dread to think what the Nuffield are paid by the NHS for these procedures, but when your in severe pain, the cost doesn't matter !     If I remember correctly, North Seaton used to run one bend. I had a dog back then, Blue Prince used to love running the bends. 21", 35 pound. Cheers.

    Some of the tracks, like Wallsend Rising Sun, had a strict 21" limit; others like Seaton Burn had no limit. I still love to see the no limit scratch racing ! Cheers.

    I've thought long and hard about replying to this or your other lamping thread, Andrew, as I know you've had a lot of stick over your videos, both on here and another site. Firstly, I think it's great you are attempting to make a living out of your sport and hobby, and wish you success with it. BUT , who are you aiming these videos at , who do you hope will pay a subscription to your YouTube site ? I'd guess that almost 100% of the people who click onto your videos are people who do a bit themselves ! They'll watch one video and think "that's no better than what I do, I'm better

    I like the industrial/ steam punk look. Not for a lounge, but definitely for a man cave/ study / library. Im not posh, by the way......my man cave/study/library is my garage ! Cheers.

    When did "coming of age" drop from 21 to 18 ? 21 used to be when you became an adult; finished your apprenticeship or your higher education. I know you could vote, get married, join the army, etc when under 21, but it was generally considered the age you had "grown up" . Cheers.

    Isn't it all about having a bit of pride in yourself and your family; providing for them, giving yourself and them a comfortable life, making sure you'll be ok in retirement? There are millions who are in dead end jobs they hate, but do it because they need to and don't want to depend on state handouts.     Against the law. It still happens though, my mate gets all the hops and waste from the local micro breweries for his pigs. No kitchen waste from your own home up to industrial kitchens is allowed to be fed to poultry or pigs. Something about "cross contamination " and salmonella, evidently. Cheers.
