Read my post; I didn't say they were safe, I said they were a lesser evil. My point is do you have a treatment that can have unpleasant, even nasty side affects, and be cured of an otherwise terminal disease, or do you refuse the treatment and die ? Of course I'm not equating Covid with cancer, but adjuvants are used in both cases. Its an individual's choice, its all about weighing up the pro's and con's. Cheers.

Only thing I know about adjuvant treatment concerns chemotherapy used as additional treatment after cancer surgery to destroy remnant cancer cells and help prevent them returning. Sure, nobody wants chemicals pumped into their body, but as a far lesser evil than cancer returning, I've not heard of anyone refusing it. I know from experience that there are many different chemo treatments but haven't a clue what they consist of, I leave that to the oncologist, surgeon, etc. I guess it's the same with adjuvants in Covid vaccine. They are added for a reason. Cheers.

It used to be "The Gnomes of Zurich " that controlled us, then Icke's " Lizard People", then all those bankers and rich people meeting at Davos, now it's the "New World Order" financed by Bill Gates, that are plotting to control us ! What I'd like to know is, are they all the same people, just changing their name now and again ? Why spend countless billions to make a "vaccine" ? Just give everyone free internet and more dole........job done ! Cheers.

There's a new BBC Chairman, but, sadly, it looks like it's a case of "here comes the new boss......same as the old boss" ! When he was interviewed about BBC bias he admitted that programmes like Question Time had more Remainers on than Leavers, but overall the BBC was extremely fair and even !!!!! Cheers.

My son had ten years as a diplomat in the British Consulate in Jeddah before he died. I met many interesting people in my time out there, but not quite so "interesting" as some of the people he introduced me to. One of his CPO's was particularly interesting, coincidentally he only lived half a mile from my house in England ! Cheers.

I was 26 years in saudi. Two years in Riyadh the rest in Jeddah. Both my late kids were raised and schooled in saudi, my son married a saudi lass and her and my grandson live there. Still go out there now and again to visit. Cheers.

Although I spend a bit of time "down under" I'm actually from the northe east of England ! Ive allways been interested in the "pub" games and have run darts and pool teams here, and when I lived in saudi I ran two darts leagues for the expats. Travelled the world with my missus who was world ranked in women's darts back in the eighties. I dont really care what nationality winners are, it's the skill and entertainment that counts for me. Snooker fascinates me, like Hearn said, "playing chess with balls " ! Cheers.

I fully expect Higgins to win, because of his skill and experience, but the Chinese lad is a natural, but his youth, inexperience and his "awe" of the top players will have him making unforced errors. Just my opinion. Cheers.

I've allways said, if darts, snooker and football were all on the telly at the same time, I'd watch the darts, record the snooker and look at the football results the next day....... Cheers.

The final of the Masters is on just now. The young Chinese lad, Yan, 20 year old, I think, is playing brilliantly ! 67-0 down clears the table to draw and wins the re-spotted black ! He's potting balls that the "elite" players would be proud of. Its 5-5 , but I think the pressure of being in a Triple Crown Final against Higgins, may just get to him. Cheers.

As a "right winger" the left automatically label me as a racist, oh ! If they only knew ? They automatically label me as anti immigration, but I'm all for controlled immigration; I'd rather have an Indian nurse than a Bulgarian Big Issue seller, or have a Japanese scientist than a Romanian pick pocket, but that doesn't fit in with the Lefts narrative ! Its getting more and more like Orwells 1984; right is wrong, truth is lies........ Cheers.

Yes, I agree that society, and people, are polarised these days. Left or Right, EU or Brexit, vax or no vax, etc, etc....... People latch onto something and simply won't accept another persons view or opinion. Theres an old saying, "a little knowledge is a dangerous thing", and no more so in the Covid vax debat, suddenly everyone an epidemiologist or virologist ! Life isn't black or white.....there's a huge grey area where things overlap. I spend an awful lot of time studying things before making a decision, probably to long, but being retired I have plenty of time on

To me, this all relates to The Grebsters post on Lewis Hamilton....... Can you admire and appreciate someone's achievements, but think they are a dispicable person ? I think , yes you can, but there's a moral dilemma in buying their merchandise, but listening to music they produced for other artists opens a whole new debate. Cheers.
