  1. depends what you want it for?. what is it being used for most?. First cross are no runner, but for working brambles, hedgerows, gorse, nettles etc, a beddy greyhound won't get near it.
  2. it's a shame really that you start being wary of everyone. I sent a mk1 box to be recalibrated, chap emailed me and said it would be £25 and could he have a cheque. he sent me the box back before I had time to post his cheque, I thought feck me he's a trusting chap. bet some cxnt will Rob him.
  3. when it comes to whippets it seems to be some sort of secret society. there is whippet racing near me, but when looking for a pup for work, I got no where. I asked about litters on here and got 1 pm from a well known member who I found very helpful ?. i decided to go for kc as some said not as fast but better nose and stamina. after over 30 years of whippet crosses I now have a 13 week old whippet pup. I will give a honest opinion good or bad on how she turns out. I know a few swear by them, we shall hopefully find out ?
  4. he looks strong enough for anything ?
  5. little beddywhippet, does rat, rabbit, squirrel, pheasant and pigeons.
  6. I like beddywhippets and will always have one. to me they are great bushing, marking, finding, mooching dogs. I have always had half crosses and they are certainly not a running dog. but for ferreting, or rat, rabbit, squirrel, pheasant etc they will always put something in the bag.
  7. I know a lot rate them above whippet lurchers. the bitch I have is a excellent finding, marking, mooching dog, but lacks a few yards. I have bought her to work with her, plus having not lamped for nearly 30 years, I quite fancy a shine with her.
  8. After over 30 years of beddywhippets, I have my first whippet, hope she makes the grade ?
  9. all depends how much you want to pay.
