like many Derbyshire lads Lincolnshire was our go to place, spent a lot of time there 80s and 90's, lamping, longnetting, ferreting. I go back a few times a year and to see the decline in rabbit numbers is shameful.
forgive my ignorance Arry, I have old mk1 box and 8ft collar works as normal. I have been given a 15ft collar, how will it read in the box? if its saying 4ft will the ferrets be at 4ft?or do I double the reading or half it etc..
very true, I notice it's the must have accessory for the horsey set nowadays. price wise, I have recently bought a whippet pup and the beddywhippet pups were fetching around same price sometimes more.
lovely little mooching dog?. plenty say one paced, yappy, stubborn, too small. but for me they always find something or make things happen, never a dull mooch.
first cross is ideal for bushing, make about 18tts.i use them for mooching, marking for ferreting, squirrels, odd pheasant etc. I know a terrier would do the same job but mine will catch a rabbits on short runs and in cover.
