Who knows quite what you will want, only time will tell, but my HMR is very useful and my WMR is most distinctly a BIG step up from a .22lr. ATB!
-
I'd say in the REAL world that sums it up completely!
-
Should have got a CZ452! Can't remember for sure now if it was 50 or 60 yards...think it may have been 50!
-
Solid German engineering, reliable and accurate, too heavy for my liking but some prefer that!
-
See what you've done now walshie!

You certainly crack on as well, I don't think the pictures bring out the time and effort required at the various stages, put simply, you make it look easy, when actually it is far from that to achieve good results! This is a time consuming, intricate and delicate at times, and detailed to get a good result. ATB! -
I went from .243 to the 6.5x55 in my opinion the best move I've made for a long while in shooting. Really? I cant imagine why, the .243 is faster, flatter shooting, and in my opinion a better one shot killer than the Swede will ever be, yes you can shoot heavier bullets in the Swede, but and it is a big but, at the expense of point and shoot capability, true at a hundred yards or so it matters not, but start pushing 250-300 yards and the Swede is like a .22 air rifle compared to a .177, fine if you know your holdover points, but for me the .243 wins hands down everytime. I have come to the conclusion that if they are going to go in, they will go in, I'm not convinced the size is that important, BUT, I would still suggest you make it as easy as possible for them, and that usually means as big as possible! The strength of the cage is also VERY important, the fox gets upset and tries hard to escape on the whole, and they can be determined/strong! Pic 1-3 same sort of trap, if you look close enough you will see trap damage caused by the fox in pic 2 and 3. Pic 4 is a different, much larger and much stronger trap! Good luck!

To be honest I have no idea, not something that has specifically cropped up for me, but on the basis that is some sort of a guide, I can but assume it is close! As you suggest, that makes it 40 rabbits to 1 horse! Edit The debate about horses being fed additional feed works both ways, there are margins and other areas in the vast majority of situations, bunnies move about, they do not constantly eat in the same place, so who knows how you are really going to do any meaningful maths on this one!

I've had very limited success with live traps, baits used are commonly what they are feeding on in the given environment. Also used cabbage stalk and apple. Caught a few, but hard work and not much return personally.
-
I think I'm probably being a bit of a numpty, but how many batteries does the lamp take? Cheers
-
Hence my use of the word allegedly! Just the same, looking at that lot and going for the cheapest options, it adds up to £11.00 exactly, for lamp, batteries, charger, postage. Frankly, in this day and age its got to be worth a try for that! Cheers!

That is a heck of a difference, and allegedly the cheap Chinese

Who knows where this may go, but hopefully easier and quicker, it certainly looks a lot of malarkey at the moment and an big issue to get any consistency! I find the Brass situation interesting, where does all that come from, presumably once fired factory, and what about the pin marks in the rim, how many times can you cycle those??

I'm lost this year, what's going on with the fox, there is one outside my house in the woods right now screaming, been happening regularly since December.
-
I've said it many a time....my WMR gives me a feeling of confidence!
-
They even got a few to work, after a fashion, an acquired technique I think, but potentially a start! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DrVto33Tiwc&feature=iv&annotation_id=annotation_3008217835&src_vid=mTf62hDhefY

As I mentioned, I had to add a bit back as well, always concerns me when you have to start taking wood away, with a little thought that can be avoided "sometimes".

Let me be clear here, are you saying you can order a 12ft lb rifle from abroad for shipment to your UK home address? I've never thought about that, makes a mockery of UK Law if that is the case, and seems very unfair on UK dealers! Cheers Yup, the rifle will turn up via DPD within 3-4 days. It certainly makes a mockery of the prices that Hull Cartridge pass on to UK dealers. From what I've read, only Sportsmanguncentre, who import directly from Germany and bypass Hull Cartridge, can compete with European prices. Oh yeah, if you want anything BSA, look in Spain. Free tr

I just use a damp tea towel and the iron on steam ,,,lift them as much as i can then let it stand for a few hours to harden off after the steaming then if need be sand the remaining dent out . If this dose not work then its sanding but the hole stock would have to be done as you cant patch the stock or blend in like you can a car when it needs paint repair if you no what i mean Deker. atvbmac  That is pretty much what I've done, is the iron on VERY hot? I've never had particularly good results, perhaps I need to find an old piece of hardwood, put some dents in -
That's what I get, very rarely does anyone talk about the grass they eat! I had one Stud Farm where the Stud Manager and Estate Manager had both lost horses with broken legs to rabbit holes.
