  1. Help me out on this one, I've somewhat lost track of Webley over the last few years but I thought they were well and truly down the pan! Are they back manufacturing or box shifting somewhere? Cheers
  2. Well, I've been at this Pest Control malarkey many years now and I've never seen one, I suspect I would have needed to look it up if I found one!
  3. I had a Richter many years ago and was thoroughly Underwhelmed. There was a thread recently somewhere that said newer models were good. If you get one an Honest review would be useful!
  4. So what's the story with Falcon, I thought they went down the pan. Are they still in business?
  5. Lots of bounces, .177 and .22.
  6. Can't really understand why you say that. The Home Office Firearms Security Handbook clearly sets out what are acceptable security measures. There are plenty of firearms owners who live in caravans. As CC, it is certainly possible but a tad harder than for most conventional homes.
  7. :hmm: Bury them in a field and plant an apple tree on top? I think you may find that has happened to a number of people over the years that the police are still looking for!
  8. As walshie and SS if they are expanding. Its been said many a time, UK gun laws are very odd at times!
  9. I have 3 sites that I have seen Black rabbits on. Other rabbits don't seem to give a jot. Probably shot a handful over the years.
  10. I'm all for cost effective scopes, and modern manufacturing/engineering techniques mean there are a few pleasant surprises out there. I don't know about the newer Richter but I had one a while back, maybe as long as 10 years ago and it was pants, both optically and engineering! It was one of the few mistakes I have made.
  11. Cheers, I'm new top this torch malarkey, I've got 2 x lamping kits and NV but I'm now investing in some cheap Chinese Cree and it occurs to me I may as well get something decent as well. What sort of distance are these usable to please, I'm talking normal clear light, not colours, and what is battery life like? Many thanks!
  12. Whilst we are at it, excuse me asking but will you need to show your licence to buy pellets, what about mail order for them, is that banned?
  13. We all go on about the 177/22 malarkey, they both have their uses and sub 12 ft lb the debate over which is marginal. Both are just as accurate as each other but fly differently.
  14. So, do you all use it or has anyone found something better yet? Cheers
  15. The whole new Law, is going to be a complete mess! As usual, the Law abiding will comply and/or hand in their guns, or simply and genuinely have no knowledge of it or think this doesn't apply to them, and the rogues and villains and numb nuts will ignore it anyway!
  16. Don't worry about disposing of them....pull bullet out with pliers then just chuck in the bin I shoot hundreds of HMR rounds.....i don't check the rounds as the few problem rounds I had came from old stock I still get plenty of split fires case I'm not entirely easy with that, would you chuck a handful of primed centrefire cases in the bin? If you have pulled the bullet why not simply fire the empty HMR case? I don't get handfuls just the odd one once in a blue moon....pulled bullet tipped out powder and just crushed the case shut then bin it Centre fires I wouldn't as I woul

  19. Where is anything new, I am really surprised they just seem to be doing the same stuff as the last team. I thought they were going to inject something new.
  20. Oh yes, I'm no great fan of the Pro Victor anyway, but I can see how difficult it may be to fit the plastic add ons to other types of rat trap!
  21. I get the research and I get the apparatus to direct the stoat/rat into the kill zone, but there is a suggestion in the Vid the stoat has very strong neck muscles and can pull out. I have no idea of the regs down under but a stronger spring comes to mind as well as the plastic bits!
  22. I've had a few problems with that type of set up. Some of the larger rats are managing to reach the bait without stepping onto the trigger plate. They seem to eat what they can reach and not venture onto the plate to get their noses into the cup to finish the bait off. Not every time. But now and again I'd get the same problem. In the end I used a plastic tool box, cut holes either side near to the top and put two Mk. IV springers inside covered with straw from a chicken coop and hung a bird feeder fat ball inside right in the middle. If you're struggling with the bait box set up as you said
  23. Always interesting to see a bit of video!
  24. WCS tube trap... And the other looks like a side view of a Kania, anyway, not tried the custard approach, peanut butter seems a virtual guarantee round these parts!
  25. Mine to, never had the inclination to build one. They certainly have their uses but not something I reach for on a daily basis, and all that digging!
