First and foremost, remember it is a TV program designed to get viewers/advertising! It is subject to editing whims and firearms disposition of the producers. Just the same, I see it as fairly neutral with both good and bad coverage.

Nothing wrong with Howa. What is your main intended use, that must weight a ton with a 24" varmint barrel? Is it brand new, the barrel will take some time to bed in if it is, don't be to disappointed if the group isn't great to start with, and as always, the odds are you will need to try assorted ammo to find the best suited.

I don't get it, ammo isn't cheap, it never really has been, if you have a requirement for HMR then you have a requirement for HMR, a .223 or 22-250 isn't a HMR. I run a lot between .22lr and .308, I need them all, I take out the most appropriate for any job, not simply the biggest calibre or cheapest ammo! ATB! -

:yes: 2 of my club members have .22 BRNO, and we were playing at 100 yards last Sunday, these are simply field guns but they were still doing the business. Its the old story ..... What's The Best To Buy ..... what's your definition of best? In simple terms you will not hear many complaints about most .22LR, but CZ seem to have it pretty much nailed! I have no issues with them, mine are working tools and have never let me down. Last is a Magtech Semi (it comes out now and again). -
Think you nailed that one Deker, when I mentioned performance it was not directly aimed at the accuracy of either rifle but one of overall performance, feel balance handling quality of build ect. Anyway after handling 3 rifles the T3 T3 lite and the M595 deluxe ( which was in almost mint condition ) I've opted for the 595 also being a few hundred pound cheaper than a new T3, well I guess time will tell to see if I made the right choice. I don't see any mention of calibre/age/usage here of the 595, but in simple terms, as long as the barrel isn't shot out then you won't go wrong!

The 595 reputation rolls on and is a very fine product, build quality will have the edge in most peoples opinion. As regards better than a T3 Lite, then how do you judge, I struggle to remember anyone saying my 595 outshoots my T3 so what is your definition of out perform? Without doubt a T3 Lite will feel very different to a 595 but the T3 is a very good, accurate and reliable product. Just the same I consider my T3 Hunter has the edge on my T3 Lite, this comes down to feel and balance and has nothing to do with accuracy or reliability.

You will not go wrong with virtually any Beretta Semi. I had the 303 and currently the 391. The 390 didn't actually last very long but what's in a number, the 391 has rolled on forever, but they have simply changed it along the route rather than changed the number. I believe I am still correct in saying Beretta themselves make more semis than any other company, and when you add in the whole Beretta Family, then they make vastly more than anyone else. Volume doesn't necessarily mean they are a good product, but in the case of Beretta, they have learned a lot over the years and
