    As I mentioned in another thread I think some of the No Hope teams have provided really watchable and interesting matches. England were back to their normal form against Belgium (the first test we have had), hopeless on the ball, stood around with that usual look of what do I do with the ball now? I don't see a single team on fire which should mean England has a chance, but unfortunately I see England going out to Columbia. ?

    Well, HW seems to be getting the vote, but they are generally well made and they do offer quite a range, best to pop into you local dealer and feel a few out!

    Price??? Who knows, they actually look in reasonable condition so perhaps just a sympathetic clean. As a decorators piece most want them "unrestored".

    You forget don't you, but some of those prices actually seem quite expensive when you look at what you can get some stuff for today. Supply and demand and mass production no doubt!

    EVERY gun has a use, its simply about selecting the best gun/ammo combination for any job. We don't always take out the .308, most of the time the jobs need something a lot smaller. When I first started doing the supermarket/shop birds I used the FAC air, around 28ft lb, soon stopped that as even with the pigeons the shot commonly went clean trough and left holes in walls, so the lower power certainly has a use.     Not sure I've got any #4, probably the odd box somewhere, but any load will do the job in the right situation! To be honest I have used a lot of different loads on fox simply due to the circumstances, but most are with rifle anyway!

    Can't say I've actually seen any in daytime daylight, certainly seen a few in the summer evenings light, but still most by far in darkness.

    I have managed to schedule work around a lot of the football and to be honest I have found some of the most interesting, flowing and enjoyable games to be amongst those who have been given no chance!

    Not sure what the normal cocking action is as mentioned above, but the early model cocking system was pants, if its one of them you may have to pay someone to take it away!
