    There is a good reason why most shoots go down the poult route,alot less stress and if you're not doing big numbers probably alot cheaper and more lightly your going to end up with birds to shoot.

    I would never charge for a pup to lads in my hunting circle but I would not give a pup to someone I don't know for nothing a litter of pups cost a lot to rear properly, has I only breed for replacements no expense is spared in rearing the litter.

    Think I payed about £350 for mine, it's been a good coat warm don't tear on briars, might see if I can rewaterproof it.

    I've been doing the terrier work on abig pheasant shoot for years keepers a great bloke,last season his neighbour asked me to do some for him only small farm about 250 acres I noticed he had quite alot of feeders but no pens, couple of months later was talking to keeper said his neighbour had let me go on his farm,well to say he hated the farmer was a understatement he definitely wanted to kill him,I said I would not go again,6000 acres his far better than 250.

    Yes would do that in about 15 minutes no problems,even a old machine would cope with a small amount like that.

    Just out of interest have you thought of trying 2 inch for this type of shooting very quiet and more than enough for small vermin.

    Size of the mincer,I use 10 mm plate minced carcass has fast has you can feed it.how much are you going to be mincing at a time.

    Most 32 mincers will mince chicken carcass no problem,if buying second hand make sure it as not been worked to death.
