  1. Where have you been Steve? ...... good to see you back
  2. Nice rifle Jeff - you won't go wrong with that mate
  3. Depending on how light they are and, what sort of finish you've got on the rifle, you could try Tcut and a soft cloth.
  4. 'These c**ts are out more than the f***ing moon' Brilliant
  5. That's a proper grim story - those little b*****ds need a strong hand when they're being dealt with. It reminds me of a story about elephants in parts of Africa - all of the old tuskers had been hunted so, there were very few left to show the young males how to behave.
  6. Assuming that they have similar barrels, I've always found JSB Heavies work well in HW100s.
  7. Excellent pictures Rez Nice to see the springer being put to work mate
  8. Same from me - go and see her You've got nothing to feel bad about mate - shit happens, that's life. ........ a reconciliation can only be a good thing
  9. It's proper PG Tips down here though - none of that Tetley shite
  10. DC hit the nail on the head perfectly mate - you're a long time dead. If she makes you happy - go and be with her
  11. Get yourself off on holiday when you can Keith - go for something a bit different. .......... if you don't like it, you can always come back home or move on somewhere else One of my old customers was an old fella, well into his 80s, he'd been on his own for a long time - he used to go and stay with a woman in some oriental country sometimes. His words were that he was 'past all that funny business' - he just liked having a nice lady to take care of him for a while and show him around the bits that tourists don't go to. I probably haven't repeated it very w
  12. Put up a picture of your kit mate - sideways on so that we can see your mounts
  13. Thank God it wasn't done by Matt f***ing Manning - the only airgun bits in the tweed brochure that BASC send me are always done by that pillock
  14. FFP is a funny ol' thing but, good if you can get used to it. I can't really add any more comments about Falcon scopes that hasn't already been said. I've had a couple they are good quality but, they're heavy and solid. There's no real guide to setting up - put the scope and mounts on loose (not loose enough to fall off) and get your eye relief right. Then get the scope level - I do this with a spirit level on the dovetail and, line up the vertical crosshair on my back door frame as I know that's bob on. I then check by looking down through the crosshair thro

    Wild bacon

I like watching those little ones run about. But, same as you, I'd like to take a couple
  16. Good on the old boy - I hope he has a good few years left in him to enjoy it
  17. There's not much that anyone can say to this mate - all you can do now is to be there for her. Good luck to you all - I'll be thinking of you and Ethan.
  18. Kajaki. It's a true story about lads from the British army getting caught up in a minefield near the Kajaki dam in Afghanistan. ..... I think they were mainly 3 Para. The ending is very poignant when it gives updates on them all and shows real pictures of the lads involved. Good film.
  19. Easy - just shoot things that are 45yrds away. If you want to shoot a rabbit at 20yrds, aim at his toes - that should put you about right. You have not been charged for these pearls of wisdom
  20. Good morning Keith Crack on and get it all done mate - you'll be glad you did when it's all done. Then, later on you can settle down for a nice glass of something - it'll be a warm evening again
  21. The only thing that would put me off a GSD is the hip and spine problems as they get older. Walshies dog looks good and, sounds good from his posts - maybe look along those lines and give him a shout.
  22. I'm not back at work yet (I wish I was) but, I work in a rail freight yard so, I don't come into contact with anyone all day. ...... I doubt we'll have a meeting - probably just go straight back in. If you're worried about the arrangements at break time, maybe ask for a different break time so that you can still use the facilities while keeping a distance that you're comfortable with.
